The touchpad further includes at least first and second non-overlapping sensors, with the first sensor disposed in at least a portion of the first and the second zones and configured to transmit a first electrical signal in response to a user input, and the second sensor disposed in at least a portion of the first and the third zones and configured to transmit a second electrical signal in response to a user input. Moreover, the touchpad includes a controller configured to generate first information in response to receiving the first electrical signal but not the second electrical signal, second information in response to receiving both the first electrical signal and the second electrical signal, and third information in response to receiving the second electrical signal but not the first electrical signal. The first information, the second information, and/or the third information are output.
