A conduit passes through the expansion chamber. An upstream end of the conduit passes through the partition and opens in the front chamber. A partition wall is provided in a central section of the conduit. An outflow section upstream from the partition wall has a side surface in which outflow holes are formed that allow exhaust gas to flow out to the expansion chamber. An inflow section downstream from the partition wall has a side surface formed with inflow holes that allow exhaust gas to flow in from the expansion chamber.
