A motorcycle comprising:a vehicle body frame comprising a head pipe disposed at a front portion thereof, a pair of front forks which are pivotally attached to the head pipe, and a pair of left and right down tubes that extend obliquely downwardly from the head pipe;a front wheel that is rotatably attached to the front forks;a front brake caliper operatively attached to the front forks;an engine attached to the vehicle body frame, wherein the down tubes extend under the engine;a connecting port disposed behind the head pipe for connecting a plurality of brake hoses to respective brake lines that are formed of metal;a plurality of brake hoses that are formed of elastic material, wherein the brake hoses extend from the connecting port forwardly to the front brake caliper after passing between the left and right down tubes; anda brake hydraulic control unit disposed at a rear side of the vehicle body frame, wherein rear ends of the brake lines are connected to said brake hydraulic control unit.
