A method for metatagging multimedia content being delivered to a customer device, comprising:receiving multimedia content comprising at least one response range during which at least one product or item of interest is featured in the multimedia content;receiving a list of products or items of interest that are featured during the at least one response range in the multimedia content, wherein the list includes the at least one product or item of interest;selecting at least one metatag associated with the at least one product or item of interest on the list to correlate with the at least one response range based on customer data of a customer;inserting the at least one metatag into the multimedia content at the at least one response range;providing the multimedia content with the at least one metatag to the customer subsequent to the receiving the list, the selecting the at least one metatag, and the inserting the at least one metatag;indicating the presence of the at least one metatag within the multimedia content upon reaching the at least one response range; andpresenting at least one of a plurality of options including at least one of an option to provide information about the at least one product or item of interest featured during the at least one response range, an option to interact with the at least one product or item of interest featured during the at least one response range, and an option to enable a transaction with the at least one product or item of interest featured during the at least one response range, wherein presenting the at least one of the plurality of options is based on the customer data and the at least one product or item of interest featured during the at least one response range.
