A method for reducing the odors of an anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids or other biosolids or sludge may include separating first anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids into first and second portions, storing second anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids, removing a portion of the second biosolids, and mixing the removed second biosolids portion with the first portion of the first biosolids. The method may be implemented in a system including a separation device, first, second and third transporters, a storage area, and a mixer. The separation device may separate the first biosolids into first and second portions. The first transporter may transport the first portion to the mixer. The second transporter may transport the second portion to the storage area. The second portion may be stored in the storage area for a select time period. The third transporter may transport a portion of the stored first biosolids to the mixer for blending.

1. A method for reducing odors emitted by anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids, comprising: forming first mixed biosolids by mixing first anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids with second anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids stored for at least approximately three days under conditions that promote growth of anaerobic microorganisms; andafter storing the first mixed biosolids for at least approximately three days, mixing the first mixed biosolids with third anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids to form second mixed biosolids. 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising storing the second mixed biosolids for a first select period of time. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the first select period of time is at least approximately three days. 4. The method of claim 2, wherein the first select period of time is between approximately three to seven days. 5. The method of claim 2, wherein the second anaerobically digested biosolids are stored in a first area, and the first mixed biosolids are stored in the first area. 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the second mixed biosolids are stored in the first area. 7. The method of claim 1, wherein a ratio by weight of the first anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids to the second anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids is between approximately 3 to 1 and 90 to 1. 8. The method of claim 1, wherein a ratio by weight of the first anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids to the second anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids is not greater than approximately 10 to 1. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein a ratio by weight of the third anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids to the first mixed biosolids is between approximately 3 to 1 and 90 to 1. 10. The method of claim 1, wherein a ratio by weight of the third anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids to the first mixed biosolids is not greater than approximately 10 to 1. 11. A method for reducing odors emitted by anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids, comprising: dewatering first anaerobically digested biosolids;after dewatering, mixing the first anaerobically digested biosolids with second anaerobically digested biosolids stored in an area for at least approximately three days under conditions that promote growth of anaerobic microorganisms; andstoring the mixed biosolids in the area. 12. The method of claim 11, further comprising mixing the mixed biosolids with third anaerobically digested biosolids after storing the mixed biosolids for at least approximately three days to form second mixed biosolids, and storing the second mixed biosolids in the area. 13. The method of claim 11, further comprising storing the mixed biosolids for at least approximately three days. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein the mixed biosolids are stored in the area for no less than three days and for no more than seven days. 15. The method of claim 11, wherein the second anaerobically digested biosolids are dewatered prior to storing them in the area. 16. The method of claim 11, wherein the second anaerobically digested biosolids are stored in the area for no less than three days and for no more than seven days. 17. The method of claim 11, wherein a ratio by weight of the first anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids to the second anaerobically digested biosolids is between approximately 3 to 1 and 90 to 1. 18. The method of claim 11, wherein a ratio by weight of the first anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids to the second anaerobically digested biosolids is not greater than approximately 10 to 1. 19. A method for reducing odors emitted by anaerobically digested dewatered biosolids, comprising: providing to a mixing area anaerobically digested biosolids;providing to the mixing area anaerobically digested biosolids stored for at least approximately three days under conditions that promote growth of anaerobic microorganisms;mixing the anaerobically digested biosolids and the stored anaerobically digested biosolids to form mixed biosolids; andmoving the mixed biosolids to a storage area, wherein the stored anaerobically digested biosolids comprise at least a portion of the mixed biosolids stored in the storage area for at least approximately three days. 20. The method of claim 19, wherein a ratio by weight of the anaerobically digested biosolids and the stored anaerobically digested biosolids is not greater than approximately 10 to 1.
