A portable workbench includes top members, a support structure, a frame, wheels and a toe plate. The top members lie in a common plane and define a working surface with opposing side portions that define clamping surfaces. The support structure supports the top members and permits selectively traversing at least one of the pair of top members toward another to permit a workpiece to be clamped therebetween. The frame includes collapsible legs. The wheels and toe plate are coupled to the frame adjacent to each other. The workbench is positionable in a raised position, a collapsed position and a hand truck position. The toe plate is movable from a retracted position to an extended position to permit the portable workbench to be employed as a hand truck.

The portable workbench of claim 10, wherein the release toggle includes: a slotted pathway at least partially defined by each of the first and second support structures; anda biased catch carried by each of the third and fourth support structures, each biased catch slidably disposed within one of the slotted pathways. 12. The portable workbench of claim 1, wherein each of the first, second, and third top members include a side portion defining a clamping surface. 13. A portable workbench, comprising: a first support structure and a second support structure;a plurality of top members, the top members connectable to both the first and second support structures, the top members including: a first top member coupled to the first and second support structures;a second top member removably connectable to the first and second support structures; anda third top member removably connectable to the first and second support structures;a clamping device operable for selectively sliding the first top member toward at least one of the second and third top members to permit a workpiece to be selectively clamped there between;a collapsible frame connectable to the first and second support structures; anda toe plate rotatably coupled to the frame;wherein the portable workbench is positionable in each of a raised position having the first, second and third top members positioned in a common plane transverse to the collapsible frame, a collapsed position having the toe plate and the first, second and third top members positioned substantially parallel to the collapsible frame, and a lift truck position wherein the toe plate is rotated approximately 90 degrees from a longitudinal axis of the collapsible frame with respect to the collapsed position. 14. The portable workbench of claim 13, wherein the collapsible frame includes two pairs of legs rotatably connectable to each other and positionable in each of a longitudinal configuration and an X-shape. 15. The portable workbench of claim 13, further comprising third and fourth support structures each rotatably connected to an associated one of the first and second support structures. 16. The portable workbench of claim 15, further comprising a release toggle connected to each of the third and fourth support structures, the release toggle being translatable in a displacement direction to permit the release toggle to disengage an engagement slot in an end of each of first and second support structures to thereby release the third and fourth support structures from the first and second support structures to permit the third and fourth support structures and the first top member to rotate about the first and second support structures into a position that is orthogonal to the first and second support structures. 17. A portable workbench, comprising: a first support structure and a second support structure;a plurality of top members, the top members connectable to both the first and second support structures, the top members including first, second, and third top members;a clamping device operable for selectively sliding the first top member toward at least one of the second and third top members to permit a workpiece to be selectively clamped there between;a collapsible frame connectable to the first and second support structures;third and fourth support structures each rotatably connected to one of the first and second support structures; anda release toggle connected to each of the third and fourth support structures, the release toggle being translatable in a displacement direction to permit the release toggle to disengage an engagement slot in an end of each of first and second support structures to thereby release the third and fourth support structures from the first and second support structures to permit the third and fourth support structures and the first top member to rotate about the first and second support structures into a position that is orthogonal to the first and second support structures;wherein a slotted pathway is at least partially defined by one of the first and third support structures, wherein a biased catch is carried by the other one of the first and third support structures, and wherein the biased catch lockably but releasably engages the slotted pathway when the third and fourth support structures are orthogonal to the first and second support structures to thereby inhibit inadvertent rotation of the third and fourth support structures. 18.
