A method, comprising: monitoring a user's actual frequency of interaction with a medical device;comparing the user's actual frequency of interaction with the medical device to at least one predetermined target level of interaction;alerting the user when the user's actual frequency of interaction with the medical device is equal to or below the at least one predetermined target level of interaction;adjusting the at least one predetermined target level of interaction according to a future analyte level of the user, wherein the future analyte level is predicted using rate of change data;rewarding the user when the user's actual frequency of interaction stays above the at least one predetermined target level of interaction for a predetermined time; anddisplaying a reward indicator to the user when the user's actual frequency of interaction achieves the at least one predetermined target level of interaction. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein alerting the user indicates a difference between the actual frequency of interaction with the medical device and the at least one predetermined target level of interaction. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the user is alerted by an audible alarm. 4. The method of claim 3, wherein the audible alarm increases in loudness over time after being activated. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the user is alerted by a vibrating alarm. 6. The method of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of predetermined target levels of interaction, wherein alerting the user distinguishes between the plurality of target levels of interaction. 7. The method of claim 1, wherein the user is required to perform at least one step to turn off the alert. 8. The method of claim 7, wherein the at least one step is a decision related to the user's state of health. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one predetermined target level of interaction is adjusted by an authorized user. 10. The method of claim 1, further comprising adjusting the at least one predetermined target level of interaction according to a time of day. 11. The method of claim 1, further comprising adjusting the at least one predetermined target level of interaction according to a type of activity. 12. The method of claim 1, further comprising recording a history of the user's actual frequency of interaction with the medical device. 13. The method of claim 12, further comprising adjusting the at least one predetermined target level of interaction according to the recorded history. 14. The method of claim 12, further comprising organizing the history of the user's actual frequency of interaction with the medical device according to behavior variables inputted by the user. 15. The method of claim 1, further comprising adjusting the at least one predetermined target level of interaction according to a data received from a sensor located on the user. 16. The method of claim 1, wherein displaying the reward indicator includes displaying a health bar of a cartoon-like character, wherein the health bar is representative of the user's actual frequency of interaction. 17. An analyte monitoring system, comprising: a user interactive analyte monitoring device to monitor at least one analyte of a user; anda processor unit coupled to the user interactive analyte monitoring device, the processor unit configured to determine the frequency of user interaction with the analyte monitoring device, to compare the user's actual frequency of interaction with the analyte monitoring device to at least one predetermined target level of interaction, to alert the user when the user's actual frequency of interaction with the analyte monitoring device is equal to or below the at least one predetermined target level of interaction, to adjust the at least one predetermined target level of interaction according to a future analyte level of the user, wherein the future analyte level is predicted using rate of change data, to reward the user when the actual frequency of interaction stays above the at least one predetermined level of interaction for a predetermined time, and to display a reward indicator to the user when the user's actual frequency of interaction achieves the at least one predetermined target level. 18. The system of claim 17, wherein the analyte is glucose. 19. The system of claim 17, further comprising an in vivo analyte sensor. 20. The system of claim 19, wherein the analyte sensor is configured to at least be partially positioned under a skin surface of a user. 21. An analyte monitoring system, comprising: a sensor to monitor an analyte level of the user,a transmitter to transmit information obtained by the sensor; anda receiver unit comprising a receiver to receive data from the sensor, and a display coupled to the receiver to display the received data to the user when the user interacts with the receiver unit;wherein the receiver unit is configured to monitor the user's actual frequency of interaction with the receiver unit, compare the user's actual frequency of interaction with the receiver unit to at least one predetermined target level of interaction, alert the user when the user's actual frequency of interaction with the receiver unit is equal to or below the at least one predetermined target level of interaction, adjust the at least one predetermined target level of interaction according to a future analyte level of the user, wherein the future analyte level is predicted using rate of change data, reward the user when the actual frequency of interaction stays above the at least one predetermined level of interaction for a predetermined time, and display a reward indicator to the user when the user's actual frequency of interaction achieves the at least one predetermined target level. 22. The analyte monitoring system of claim 21, further comprising a data storage unit for storing a history of the user's actual interaction with the receiver unit. 23. The analyte monitoring system of claim 21, wherein the receiver unit is portable. 24. The analyte monitoring system of claim 21, wherein the receiver unit further comprises a user input unit for interacting with the display unit. 25. The analyte monitoring system of claim 24, wherein the user input unit is used to change settings of the receiver unit. 26. The system of claim 21, wherein displaying the reward indicator includes displaying a health bar of a cartoon-like character, wherein the health bar is representative of the user's actual frequency of interaction.
