A method for a first mote of a set of motes, the method comprising: (a) receiving a multi-mote index creation agent from a second mote of the set of motes;(b) installing at least a portion of the multi-mote index creation agent on the first mote of the set of motes after the first mote is deployed;(c) receiving at least a part of one or more mote-addressed content indexes from at least one other mote of the set of motes;(d) aggregating, with the multi-mote index creation agent, at least a portion of the at least a part of the one or more mote-addressed content indexes into at least one aggregated mote-addressed content index; and(e) transferring at least a part of the at least one aggregated mote-addressed content index to an aggregator configured to store the at least a part of the at least one aggregated mote-addressed content index. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said (d) aggregating further comprises: creating one or more multi-mote content indexes of the first set of motes, wherein the one or more multi-mote content indexes comprise information indicating a first type of sensing or control capabilities associated with the set of motes and a second type of sensing or control capabilities associated with the set of motes. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein further comprises: obtaining a listing of motes appropriate to at least one of the one or more multi-mote content indexes. 4. The method of claim 2, wherein said creating further comprises: obtaining a listing of motes appropriate to at least one of the one or more multi-mote content indexes from a multi-mote registry. 5. The method of claim 2, wherein said creating further comprises: obtaining a pre-loaded listing of motes appropriate to at least one of the one or more multi-mote content indexes. 6. The method of claim 2, wherein said creating further comprises: obtaining a listing of motes appropriate to at least one of the one or more multi-mote content indexes from one or more motes to be included in the listing. 7. The method of claim 2, wherein said creating or said (c) receiving further comprises: receiving at least a part of at least one of a mote-addressed sensing index or a mote-addressed control index from a reporting entity disposed at a mote of the set of motes. 8. The method of claim 2, wherein said creating or said (c) receiving further comprises: receiving at least a part of at least one mote-addressed routing index from a reporting entity disposed at a mote of the set of motes. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein said (c) receiving further comprises: receiving at least a part of at least one of a mote-addressed sensing index or a mote-addressed control index from a multi-mote reporting entity disposed at a mote of the set of motes. 10. The method of claim 1, wherein said (c) receiving further comprises: receiving at least a part of a mote-addressed routing index and a mote-addressed spatial index from a multi-mote reporting entity disposed at a mote of the set of motes. 11. The method of claim 1, wherein the one or more mote-addressed content indexes received from the at least one other mote of the set of motes include: identifiers of devices available at a mote of the set of motes, andinformation indicating sensing and control capabilities associated with the devices. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein said (d) aggregating further comprises: aggregating at least a part of at least one of a mote-addressed sensing index, a mote-addressed control index, or a mote-addressed routing index of the at least a part of the one or more mote-addressed content indexes received from the at least one other mote of the set of motes. 13. The method of claim 11, wherein said (d) aggregating further comprises: aggregating at least a part of a mote-addressed routing index of a multi-mote content index. 14. A mote of a set of motes, the mote comprising: at least one device formed with a substrate having at least two of a semi-autonomous computing functionality, a communication functionality, or a sensing functionality; anda multi-mote index creation agent, wherein the mote is configured to: receive the multi-mote index creation agent from another mote of the set of motes;install at least a portion of the multi-mote index creation agent on the mote after the mote is deployed; andreceive at least a part of one or more mote-addressed content indexes from at least one other mote of the set of motes, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is configured to: aggregate at least a portion of the at least a part of the one or more mote-addressed content indexes into at least one aggregated mote-addressed content index, and wherein the mote is further configured to: transfer at least a part of the at least one aggregated mote-addressed content index to an aggregator configured to store the at least a part of the at least one aggregated mote-addressed content index. 15. The mote of claim 14, wherein the at least a part of the one or more mote-addressed content indexes comprise information indicating at least one of sensing or control capabilities associated with the first set of motes, and wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to create, one or more multi-mote content indexes of the first set of motes. 16. The mote of claim 15, wherein obtaining the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to obtain a listing of motes appropriate to at least one of the one or more multi-mote content indexes. 17. The mote of claim 15, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to obtain a listing of motes appropriate to at least one of the one or more multi-mote content indexes from a multi-mote registry. 18. The mote of claim 15, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to obtain a pre-loaded listing of motes appropriate to at least one of the one or more multi-mote content indexes. 19. The mote of claim 15, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to obtain a listing of motes appropriate to at least one of the one or more multi-mote content indexes from one or more motes to be included in the listing. 20. The mote of claim 15, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to receive at least a part of at least one of a mote-addressed sensing index or a mote-addressed control index from a reporting entity disposed at a particular mote of the set of motes. 21. The mote of claim 15, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to receive at least a part of at least one of a mote-addressed routing index or a mote-addressed spatial index from a reporting entity disposed at a particular mote of the set of motes. 22. The mote of claim 14, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to receive at least a part of at least one of a mote-addressed sensing index or a mote-addressed control index from a multi-mote reporting entity disposed at a particular mote of the set of motes. 23. The mote of claim 14, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to receive at least a part of a mote-addressed routing/spatial index from a reporting entity disposed at a particular mote of the set of motes. 24. The mote of claim 14, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to: create an aggregate of at least a part of one or more multi-mote content indexes of the set of motes, the one or more multi-mote content indexes of the set of motes including network addresses of devices coupled with the set of motes. 25. The mote of claim 24, wherein the multi-mote index creation agent is further configured to aggregate at least a part of at least two of a mote-addressed sensing index, a mote-addressed control index, or a mote-addressed routing/spatial index of a multi-mote content index. 26.
