A Radio Frequency based security system for providing security for wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) that allows the creation and maintenance of arbitrarily shaped secure wireless access areas with boundaries around said wireless Local Area Network and prevents access to the said wireless LAN from outside the perimeter of the secure area. The system includes a plurality of perimeter Radio Frequency Sentry Devices (RFSDs) that are employed to establish the boundaries of said secure area around said wireless LAN. The wireless LAN being secured may be an industry standard IEEE 802.11a, 801.11b or 802.11g based wireless LAN or any other wireless LAN that uses packet based communication protocols. The said RFSDs may be stand-alone devices or they may be connected to a wired or wireless Local Area Network.

1. A method, comprising: receiving, by a communication security device (CSD), an original wireless packet from an external wireless device located outside of a network operations area (NOA); andtransmitting, by the CSD, a new wireless packet to cause the original wireless packet transmitted by said external wireless device to be indecipherable to one or more primary wireless devices located inside the NOA,wherein the NOA is at least partially and proximately determined by a location of the CSD. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said system further includes a central controller (CC) unit in communication with each of said two or more CSDs, said CC having: a control authority containing knowledge of said one or more primary wireless and of secondary devices;a central registry, wherein each of said two or more CSDs is configured to respectively register themselves with the CC; andone or more switches configured to enable communication between each of said two or more CSDs and said CC. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the NOA includes an area having a physical dimension and having said one or more primary wireless devices located therein, and wherein said CSD is positioned at a predetermined proximity in relation to said physical dimension. 4. The method of claim 1, further comprising: transmitting data across a wireless local area network (WLAN) and a local area network (LAN) via a transmitter, receiving data across the WLAN and the LAN via a receiver, controlling said CSD across the WLAN and the LAN via a controller, providing electricity to said CSD via a power source, andenabling communications of said CSD across the WLAN and the LAN via a plurality of antennas. 5. The method of claim 1, further comprising: creating a radio frequency map of the NOA and said external wireless device;receiving, by the CSD, a first signal from another CSD; anddetermining, by the CSD, radio frequency characteristics of said NOA and said external wireless device at least partially based on said first signal. 6. The method of claim 1, further comprising locating, by the CSD, a direction of said external wireless device via a radio direction finder (RDF) unit. 7. The method of claim 1, wherein said NOA includes an area of one or more floors of a building. 8. The method of claim 1, wherein said one or more primary wireless devices are configured to be used in a x.25 or IEEE 802.11 protocol network. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein said CSD includes a directional antenna. 10. The method of claim 1, further comprising tracking, by the CSD, respective locations of said external wireless device and said one or more primary wireless devices. 11. The method of claim 1, further comprising: receiving, by the CSD, another original wireless packet from said one or more primary wireless devices; andtransmitting, by the CSD, another new wireless packet to render the another original wireless communication packet indecipherable to the external wireless device. 12. The method of claim 1, further comprising: receiving, by the CSD, another original wireless packet from said one or more primary wireless device; andtransmitting, by the CSD, another new wireless packet to render the another original wireless communication packet indecipherable to at least one of the one or more primary wireless devices. 13. The method of claim 1, further comprising: determining signal strength comparisons of the original wireless packet received at a plurality of antennas;determining time of difference of arrival (TDOA) comparisons of the original wireless packet received at the plurality of antennas; anddetermining phase difference of the original wireless packet received at the plurality of antennas. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein said plurality of antennas face in a same direction. 15. The method of claim 13, wherein said plurality of antennas are any one of types that include: a parabolic antenna, a Yagi antenna, a patch antenna, a quad antenna, a bi-quad antenna, a dish antenna, a collinear antenna, a vertical antenna, a dipole antenna and a phased arrays antenna. 16. The method of claim 1, further comprising identifying, by the CSD, the wireless packet as being originated from said external wireless device. 17. The method of claim 16, further comprising: transmitting the new wireless packet in response to said identifying. 18. The method of claim 17, wherein said transmitted altered wireless packet is transmitted towards said WLAN. 19. A security-enhanced wireless communications system, comprising: a communications security device (CSD) including: a receiver configured to receive an original wireless communication packet from an external wireless device located outside of a network operations area (NOA); anda transmitter configured to transmit a new wireless communication packet to render the original wireless communication packet transmitted by said external wireless device indecipherable to one or more primary wireless devices located inside the NOA,wherein the NOA is at least partially and proximately determined by a location of the CSD. 20. The system of claim 19, wherein the CSD is configured to transmit the new wireless communication packet towards at least one of the one or more primary wireless devices. 21. The system of claim 19, wherein the NOA is proximately defined by a location of the CSD in relationship to another CSD. 22. The system of claim 19, wherein the CSD further includes a controller configured to track respective locations of said external wireless device and said one or more primary wireless devices. 23. The system of claim 19, wherein the receiver is further configured to receive another original wireless communication packet from said one or more primary wireless devices, and wherein the transmitter is further configured to transmit another new wireless communication packet to render the another original wireless communication packet indecipherable to at least one of said one or more primary wireless devices. 24. The system of claim 19, wherein the receiver is further configured to receive another original wireless communication packet from said one or more primary wireless devices, and wherein the transmitter is further configured to transmit another new wireless communication packet to render the another original wireless communication packet indecipherable to the external wireless device. 25. The system of claim 24, wherein the another new wireless communication packet is transmitted towards the external wireless device. 26. The system of claim 24, wherein said transmit of the another new wireless communication packet prevents a wireless communication from being established between the one or more primary wireless devices. 27. The system of claim 24, wherein the another new wireless communication packet is transmitted towards at least one of the one or more primary wireless devices.
