A load transmission body for a vehicle, that is adjacently disposed on an inner side of a seat in vehicle width direction, and transmits an impact load that has been imparted from a side of a vehicle body to the seat to a floor of the vehicle body, the load transmission body comprising: a pair of side walls fixed to the floor of the vehicle body and extending in a vehicle front-back direction;a front wall, extending in the vehicle width direction, and reciprocally coupling with the pair of side walls;a rear wall disposed at a vehicle rear side of the front wall, extending in the vehicle width direction, and coupling with the pair of side walls;a side reinforcing member provided at each of the side walls, having reinforcing beads extending in the vehicle front-back direction, and a front end portion and a rear end portion that are coupled to the front wall and the rear wall, respectively, the reinforcing beads being joined to the inner surface of the side walls within a storage portion of the load transmission body;a bottom plate attached to the pair of side walls vertically dividing the load transmission body along a tall portions of the side walls, the bottom plate forming a support box portion in a lower region of the load transmission body, and the bottom plate including a first joining flange fastened and fixed by a bolt to a second joining flange of a rear-side cross member together with a floor member; anda space portion formed by the front wall, the rear wall, both of the side walls, and an upper surface of the bottom plate, the space portion opening at an upper part thereof and forming the storage portion therein for storing articles in the interior. 2.
