A packaging assembly having an open design for displaying a product is provided. The packaging assembly is configured for storage and display in high density arrays of packaging assemblies, such as storage in pallets, and is configured to display visual information to a user from any perspective, even when the packaging assembly is packed in high density arrays of packaging assemblies. The packaging assembly includes an inner portion designed to contain a product and a housing designed to house the inner portion, wherein the inner portion includes a substantially transparent cover that facilitates display of the product. The packaging assembly includes an outer portion having a three dimensional window box frame, wherein portions of the window box frame are configured to couple to flanges provided on the inner portion.

The method of claim 1, further comprising: placing a plurality of packaging assemblies into another tray such that: a display window, of each packaging assembly of the plurality of packaging assemblies, faces toward a front wall of the other tray;a side portion, of each packaging assembly of the plurality of packaging assemblies, faces toward a side wall of the other tray; anda chamfer portion, of each packaging assembly of the plurality of packaging assemblies, faces toward a corner of the other tray between the side wall and the front wall of the other tray; andstacking the other tray with the plurality of packaging assemblies upon the tray with the packaging assembly and the other packaging assembly such that the front wall of the tray and the front wall of the other tray face in a first direction. 4. The method of claim 1, further comprising displaying product information on the chamfer portion of the packaging assembly to permit viewing of the product information on the chamfer portion from a first direction facing the side wall of the tray and a second direction facing the front wall of the tray. 5. The method of claim 1, further comprising: displaying first product information on the chamfer portion of the packaging assembly to permit viewing of the first product information on the chamfer portion from a first direction facing the side wall of the tray and a second direction facing the front wall of the tray; anddisplaying second product information on another chamfer portion of the packaging assembly to permit viewing of the second product information on the other chamfer portion from the second direction facing the front wall of the tray and a third direction facing another side wall of the tray. 6. The method of claim 1, further comprising: displaying product information on a top front panel of the packaging assembly; anddisplaying the product information on a bottom front panel of the packaging assembly;wherein said placing a packaging assembly comprises placing the packaging assembly such that the top front panel, the bottom front panel, and the front wall face in a first direction. 7. The method of claim 1, further comprising inserting product into the packaging assembly such that at least a portion of the product is visible through the display window of the packaging assembly. 8. The method of claim 1, further comprising: placing product between a base portion and a transparent cover portion to form an inner portion; andinserting the inner portion into the packaging assembly such that at least a portion of the product is visible through the display window of the packaging assembly. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein said placing a plurality of products into a plurality of packaging assemblies comprises: placing product between a base portion and a transparent cover portion to form an inner portion; andinserting the inner portion into the packaging assembly such that at least a portion of the product is visible through the display window of the packaging assembly. 10. A method, comprising: placing a plurality of products into a plurality of packaging assemblies, each packaging assembly comprising a display window, a side portion, and a chamfer portion between the side portion and the display window; andplacing the plurality of packaging assemblies in a tray such that each display window faces toward a front wall of the tray, each side portion faces toward a side wall of the tray, and each chamfer portion faces toward a corner of the tray positioned between the side wall and the front wall of the tray. 11. The method of claim 10, wherein said placing the plurality of packaging assemblies comprises: placing a first packaging assembly and a second packaging assembly into the tray such that the display window of the first packaging assembly faces toward a back panel of the second packaging assembly. 12. The method of claim 10, further comprising: placing another plurality of products into another plurality of packaging assemblies, each packaging assembly comprising a display window, a side portion, and a chamfer portion between the side portion and the display window;placing the other plurality of packaging assemblies in another tray such that each display window faces toward a front wall of the other tray, each side portion faces toward a side wall of the other tray, and each chamfer portion faces toward a corner of the other tray positioned between the side wall and the front wall of the other tray; andstacking the other tray with the other plurality of packaging assemblies upon the tray with the plurality of packaging assemblies such that the front wall of the tray and the front wall of the other tray face in a first direction. 13. The method of claim 10, further comprising displaying product information on the chamfer portion of each of the plurality of packaging assemblies to permit viewing of the product information on the chamfer portion from a first direction facing the side wall of the tray and a second direction facing the front wall of the tray. 14. The method of claim 10, further comprising: displaying first product information on the chamfer portion of each of the plurality of packaging assemblies to permit viewing of the first product information on the chamfer portion from a first direction facing the side wall of the tray and a second direction facing the front wall of the tray; anddisplaying second product information on another chamfer portion of each of the plurality of packaging assemblies to permit viewing of the second product information on the other chamfer portion from the second direction facing the front wall of the tray and a third direction facing another side wall of the tray. 15. The method of claim 10, further comprising: displaying product information on a top front panel of each packaging assembly of the plurality of packaging assemblies; anddisplaying the product information on a bottom front panel of each packaging assembly of the plurality of packaging assemblies;wherein said placing the plurality of packaging assemblies comprises placing the plurality of packaging assemblies such that the top front panel and the bottom front panel of each packaging assembly and the front wall of the tray face in a first direction. 16. The method of claim 10, wherein said placing a plurality of products into a plurality of packaging assemblies comprises inserting a product into a packaging assembly of the plurality of packaging assemblies such that at least a portion of the product is visible through the display window of the packaging assembly.
