A portable pumping apparatus for pumping liquid from a source container to a destination container and concurrently pumping vapor from said destination container to said source container, said pumping apparatus comprising: a pump comprising: a liquid pumping portion including a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet;a vapor pumping portion fluidically isolated from the liquid pumping portion, the vapor pumping portion including a vapor inlet and a vapor outlet; andwherein the pump is mountable to the source container to allow direct fluid communication between an interior of the source container and at least one of the vapor pumping portion and the liquid pumping portion; andan actuation mechanism for actuating said pump to thereby concurrently pump liquid from said pump through said liquid outlet and vapor into said pump through said vapor inlet, and concurrently pump vapor from said pump through said vapor outlet and liquid into said pump through said liquid inlet. 2. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, wherein said actuation mechanism concurrently pumps vapor from said vapor pumping portion through said vapor outlet and liquid into said liquid pumping portion through said liquid inlet, and alternatingly concurrently pumps liquid from said liquid pumping portion through said liquid outlet and vapor into said vapor pumping portion through said vapor inlet. 3. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, wherein the liquid pumping portion is a variable volume liquid pumping portion and the vapor pumping portion is a variable volume vapor pumping portion;wherein the pump comprises a pumping mechanism to fluidically isolate the variable volume liquid pumping portion and the variable volume vapor pumping portion, the pumping mechanism being movable to vary the internal volume of each of said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said variable volume vapor pumping portion, andwherein said movable pumping mechanism is for concurrently pumping liquid from said variable volume liquid pumping portion through said liquid outlet and vapor into said variable volume vapor pumping portion through said vapor inlet, and concurrently pumping vapor from said variable volume vapor pumping portion through said vapor outlet and liquid into said variable volume liquid pumping portion through said liquid inlet. 4. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 3, wherein said pumping mechanism concurrently pumps vapor from said variable volume vapor pumping portion through said vapor outlet and liquid into said variable volume liquid pumping portion through said liquid inlet, and alternatingly concurrently pumps liquid from said variable volume liquid pumping portion through said liquid outlet and vapor into said variable volume vapor pumping portion through said vapor inlet. 5. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 4, wherein the internal volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion is variable, via pumping movement of said pumping mechanism, between a full configuration and a reduced configuration wherein the internal volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion is less than in the full configuration. 6. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 5, wherein the internal volume of said variable volume vapor pumping portion is variable, via pumping movement of said pumping mechanism, between a full configuration and a reduced configuration wherein the internal volume of said variable volume vapor pumping portion is less than in the full configuration. 7. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 6, wherein said pumping mechanism is movable in a cyclical motion when varying the volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said variable volume vapor pumping portion between their respective full and reduced configurations. 8. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 7, wherein said pumping mechanism is movable through one cycle of said cyclical motion when varying the volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion from said full configuration through said reduced configuration and back to said full configuration. 9. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 8, wherein said pumping mechanism is movable through one cycle of said cyclical motion when varying the volume of said variable volume vapor pumping portion from said reduced configuration through said full configuration and back to said reduced configuration. 10. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 9, wherein in one cycle of said pumping mechanism, the volume of liquid pumped by said pumping mechanism is substantially equal to the volume of vapor pumped by said pumping mechanism. 11. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 9, wherein said pump comprises a main body having a substantially hollow chamber. 12. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 11, wherein said pumping mechanism comprises a movable pumping member disposed within said substantially hollow chamber so as to divide said substantially hollow chamber into said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said variable volume vapor pumping portion. 13. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 12, wherein said movable pumping member comprises a piston. 14. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 13, wherein said actuation mechanism comprises a piston rod member operatively connected to said piston. 15. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 14, wherein said piston rod member includes a throughpassage that permits said variable volume vapor pumping portion to be in fluid communication with one of said vapor inlet and said vapor outlet. 16. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 3, wherein the change in volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion between said full configuration and said reduced configuration is substantially equal to the change in volume of said variable volume vapor pumping portion between said reduced configuration and said full configuration. 17. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 3, wherein said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said variable volume vapor pumping portion are each substantially cylindrical in cross-section. 18. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 6, wherein said actuation means further comprises a biasing means for biasing said variable volume liquid pumping portion to said full configuration. 19. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, wherein said pump comprises a main body having a substantially hollow chamber, and a pumping mechanism operatively disposed within said substantially hollow chamber so as to divide said substantially hollow chamber in sealed relation into the liquid pumping portion and the vapor pumping portion, the liquid pumping portion and the vapor pumping portion being fluidically isolated one from the other by said pumping mechanism,wherein the liquid pumping portion is a variable volume liquid pumping portion, and the vapor pumping portion is a variable volume vapor pumping portion. 20. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 19, wherein said pumping mechanism is moveable between a full configuration of said variable volume liquid pumping portion and a full configuration of said variable volume vapor pumping portion,wherein, when said pumping mechanism moves from said full configuration of said variable volume liquid pumping portion to said full configuration of said variable volume vapor pumping portion, liquid within said variable volume liquid pumping portion of said substantially hollow chamber is pumped from said variable volume liquid pumping portion through said liquid outlet and vapor is pumped into said variable volume vapor pumping portion of said substantially hollow chamber through said vapor inlet, andwherein, when said pumping mechanism moves from said full configuration of said variable volume vapor pumping portion to said full configuration of said variable volume liquid pumping portion, vapor within said variable volume vapor pumping portion of said substantially hollow chamber is pumped from said variable volume vapor pumping portion through said vapor outlet, and liquid is pumped into said variable volume liquid pumping portion of said substantially hollow chamber through said liquid inlet. 21. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 20, wherein said pumping mechanism concurrently pumps vapor from said variable volume vapor pumping portion through said vapor outlet and liquid into said variable volume liquid pumping portion through said liquid inlet, and alternatingly concurrently pumps liquid from said variable volume liquid pumping portion through said liquid outlet and vapor into said variable volume vapor pumping portion through said vapor inlet. 22. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 21, wherein said pumping mechanism is movable in a cyclical motion when varying the volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said variable volume vapor pumping portion between said full configuration of said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said full configurations of said variable volume vapor pumping portion. 23. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 22, wherein said pumping mechanism is movable through one cycle of said cyclical motion when varying the volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said variable volume vapor pumping portion from said full configuration through said reduced configuration and back to said full configuration. 24. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 23, wherein in one cycle of said pumping mechanism, the volume of liquid pumped by said variable volume liquid pumping portion is substantially equal to the volume of vapor pumped by said variable volume vapor pumping portion. 25. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 23, wherein said pumping mechanism comprises a piston. 26. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 25, wherein said actuation mechanism comprises a piston rod member operatively connected to said piston. 27. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 26, wherein said piston rod member includes a throughpassage that permits said variable volume liquid pumping portion to be in fluid communication with one of said liquid inlet and said liquid outlet. 28. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 20, wherein the change in volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion between said full configuration and said reduced configuration is substantially equal to the change in volume of said variable volume vapor pumping portion between said reduced configuration and said full configuration. 29. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 19, wherein said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said variable volume vapor pumping portion are each substantially cylindrical in cross-section. 30. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 19, wherein said pumping mechanism causes said concurrent pumping of liquid from said variable volume liquid pumping portion through said liquid outlet and vapor into said vapor variable volume pumping portion through said vapor inlet, at substantially equal flow rates. 31. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 20, wherein said pumping mechanism is movable in a cyclical motion when varying the volume of said variable volume liquid pumping portion and said variable volume vapor pumping portion between their respective full and reduced configurations. 32. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 31, wherein in one cycle of said pumping mechanism, the volume of liquid pumped by said variable volume liquid pumping portion is substantially equal to the volume of vapor pumped by said variable volume vapor pumping portion. 33. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 21, wherein said actuation means further comprises a biasing means for biasing said variable volume liquid pumping portion to said full configuration. 34. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, wherein said actuation mechanism causes said concurrent pumping of liquid from said pump through said liquid outlet and vapor into said pump through said vapor inlet, at substantially equal flow rates. 35. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, wherein said actuation mechanism is movable in a cyclical motion when actuating said pump. 36. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 35, wherein in one cycle of said actuation mechanism, the volume of liquid pumped by said pump is substantially equal to the volume of vapor pumped by said pump. 37. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, wherein said actuation mechanism comprises a pedal member. 38. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, further comprising attachment means for connecting in fluid communication at least one of said liquid inlet and said vapor outlet with an interior of the source container or connecting in fluid communication at least one of said liquid outlet and said vapor inlet with an interior of the destination container. 39. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, further comprising attachment means for attaching said portable pumping apparatus to the source container such that said liquid inlet and said vapor outlet are in fluid communication with an interior of said source container; or for attaching the portable pumping apparatus to the destination container such that said liquid outlet and said vapor inlet are in fluid communication with an interior of said destination container. 40. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, further comprising liquid delivery means for delivering liquid from said pump to said destination container. 41. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 40, further comprising vapor recovery means for delivering vapor from said destination container to said pump. 42. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 41, wherein said liquid delivery means comprises an elongate flexible liquid delivery hose having a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet. 43. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 42, wherein said elongate flexible liquid delivery hose is in fluid communication at said liquid inlet with the liquid outlet of said pump for receiving liquid from said pump. 44. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 43, wherein said vapor recovery means comprises an elongate flexible vapor recovery hose having a vapor inlet and a vapor outlet. 45. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 44, wherein said elongate flexible vapor recovery hose is in fluid communication at said vapor outlet with said vapor inlet of said pump for delivering vapor to said pump. 46. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 45, wherein said elongate flexible liquid delivery hose and said elongate flexible vapor recovery hose permit the movement of said liquid outlet of said elongate flexible liquid delivery hose to said destination container while said source container remains substantially stationary, to thereby permit the delivery of said liquid to said destination container. 47. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 45, wherein said elongate flexible liquid delivery hose and said elongate flexible vapor recovery hose together comprise a two line hose. 48. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 47, wherein said elongate flexible liquid delivery hose and said elongate flexible vapor recovery hose are integrally formed one with the other. 49. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 45, further comprising a nozzle and spout assembly, wherein said liquid outlet of said elongate flexible liquid delivery hose is operatively connected in supported relation to said nozzle and spout assembly, and said vapor inlet of said elongate flexible vapor recovery hose is operatively connected in supported relation to said nozzle and spout assembly. 50. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 49, wherein said elongate flexible liquid delivery hose is operatively connected at said liquid outlet in liquid delivery relation to said nozzle and spout assembly and said elongate flexible vapor recovery hose is operatively connected in vapor receiving relation at said vapor inlet to said nozzle and spout assembly. 51. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 50, wherein said nozzle and spout assembly is in fluid communication with the liquid outlet of the elongate flexible liquid delivery hose for receiving liquid from the elongate flexible liquid delivery hose for dispensing said liquid to said destination container; and is also in fluid communication with the vapor inlet of the elongate flexible vapor delivery hose for conveying vapor received from said destination container to said elongate flexible vapor recovery hose. 52. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 50, wherein said nozzle and spout assembly comprises an auto-shutoff mechanism. 53. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 50, wherein said nozzle and spout assembly comprises an auto-closure mechanism. 54. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a mounting member for mounting at least a portion of said portable pumping apparatus within the interior of the source container or the destination container. 55. The portable pumping apparatus of claim 1, wherein said actuation mechanism is manually operable. 56. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein at least the vapor outlet comprises one or more apertures allowing direct fluid communication between the vapor pumping portion and the interior of the source container. 57. The apparatus of claim 56 wherein the vapor outlet comprises one or more apertures defined in a wall of the pump. 58. The apparatus of claim 57 wherein at least one of the one or more apertures is connectable to a vapor conduit. 59. The apparatus of claim 56 further comprising a check valve for mediating fluid flow through the one or more apertures of the vapor outlet to permit movement of vapor from the vapor pumping portion to the interior of the source container and to inhibit movement of vapor from the interior of the source container to the vapor pumping portion. 60. The apparatus of claim 59 wherein the check valve comprises an umbrella valve positioned over at least one of the one or more apertures. 61. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein at least the liquid inlet comprises one or more apertures allowing direct fluid communication between the liquid pumping portion and the interior of the source container. 62. The apparatus of claim 61 wherein the liquid inlet comprises one or more apertures defined in a wall of the pump. 63. The apparatus of claim 61 wherein at least one of the one or more apertures is connectable to a liquid conduit. 64. The apparatus of claim 61 further comprising a check valve for mediating fluid flow through the one or more apertures of the liquid inlet to permit movement of liquid from the interior of the source container to the liquid pumping portion and to inhibit movement of liquid from the liquid pumping portion to the interior of the source container. 65. The apparatus of claim 64 wherein the check valve comprises an umbrella valve positioned over at least one of the one or more apertures. 66. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein at least a portion of the pump is mountable inside the source container. 67. A use of the apparatus of claim 1 for concurrently: pumping liquid from the source container to the destination container; andpumping vapor from the destination container to the source container. 68. The use of claim 67 wherein a volume of the liquid pumped is substantially equal to a volume of the vapor pumped in one pumping cycle. 69. The use of claim 67 wherein a flow rate of liquid pumped is substantially equal to a flow rate of vapor pumped. 70.
