Disclosed are systems, methods and computer program products for classifying users of antivirus software based on user's level of expertise in the field of computer security. In one example, the system receives from antivirus software deployed on a user's computer information about security of the computer and history of user's usage of the software. The system categorizes the received information into categories based on (i) a number of computer threats detected by the user, (ii) a frequency of malware infections of the user's computer, and (iii) a level of user's proficiency with the antivirus software. The system then selects condition-action rules for each category of information and applies the selected rules to the categorized information to determine user's level of expertise in computer security. Finally, the system classifies the user as one of an expert or typical user based on the user's level of expertise.

1. A computer-implemented method for classifying users of antivirus software based on user's level of expertise in the field of computer security, the method comprising: receiving from an antivirus software deployed on a user's computer information about security of the user's computer and history of user's usage of the antivirus software;categorizing the received information into a plurality of categories, including at least (i) a number of computer threats detected by the user, (ii) a frequency of malware infections of the user's computer, and (iii) a level of user's proficiency with the antivirus software;selecting one or more condition-action rules for each category of information;applying the selected condition-action rules to the categorized information to determine user's level of expertise in the field of computer security; andclassifying the user as one of an expert user or typical user based on the determined user's level of expertise in the field of computer security. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer includes one or more of (i) types of security threats detected on the user's computer, (ii) detailed information about each detected security threat, and (iii) information about software and hardware state of the user's computer when the security threat occurred. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer further includes one or more of (iv) a list of user's actions taken in response to the detected security threat, and (v) user's verdict indicating whether the detected security threat it harmful or harmless to the security of the user's computer. 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer includes one or more of (i) information about programs installed on the user's computer and (ii) information about user's usage of said programs. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the history of user's usage of the antivirus software includes one or more of (i) a frequency of user's usage of the antivirus software, (ii) an extent of user's configuration of the antivirus software, (iii) the types of services of the antivirus software used by the user, and (iv) frequency of antivirus database updates. 6. The method of claim 1, wherein condition-action rules include fuzzy logic rules. 7. A computer-based system for classifying users of antivirus software based on user's level of expertise in the field of computer security, the system comprising: a processor configured to: receive from an antivirus software deployed on a user's computer information about security of the user's computer and history of user's usage of the antivirus software;categorize the received information into a plurality of categories, including at least (i) a number of computer threats detected by the user, (ii) a frequency of malware infections of the user's computer, and (iii) a level of user's proficiency with the antivirus software;select one or more condition-action rules for each category of information;apply the selected condition-action rules to the categorized information to determine user's level of expertise in the field of computer security; andclassify the user as one of an expert user or typical user based on the determined user's level of expertise in the field of computer security. 8. The system of claim 7, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer includes one or more of (i) types of security threats detected on the user's computer, (ii) detailed information about each detected security threat, and (iii) information about software and hardware state of the user's computer when the security threat occurred. 9. The system of claim 8, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer further includes one or more of (iv) a list of user's actions taken in response to the detected security threat, and (v) user's verdict indicating whether the detected security threat it harmful or harmless to the security of the user's computer. 10. The system of claim 7, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer includes one or more of (i) information about programs installed on the user's computer and (ii) information about user's usage of said programs. 11. The system of claim 7, wherein the history of user's usage of the antivirus software includes one or more of (i) a frequency of user's usage of the antivirus software, (ii) an extent of user's configuration of the antivirus software, (iii) the types of services of the antivirus software used by the user, and (iv) frequency of antivirus database updates. 12. The system of claim 7, wherein condition-action rules include fuzzy logic rules. 13. A computer program product embedded in a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, the computer-readable storage medium comprising computer-executable instructions for classifying users of antivirus software based on user's level of expertise in the field of computer security, the medium comprises instructions for: receiving from an antivirus software deployed on a user's computer information about security of the user's computer and history of user's usage of the antivirus software;categorizing the received information into a plurality of categories, including at least (i) a number of computer threats detected by the user, (ii) a frequency of malware infections of the user's computer, and (iii) a level of user's proficiency with the antivirus software;selecting one or more condition-action rules for each category of information;applying the selected condition-action rules to the categorized information to determine user's level of expertise in the field of computer security; andclassifying the user as one of an expert user or typical user based on the determined user's level of expertise in the field of computer security. 14. The product of claim 13, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer includes one or more of (i) types of security threats detected on the user's computer, (ii) detailed information about each detected security threat, and (iii) information about software and hardware state of the user's computer when the security threat occurred. 15. The product of claim 14, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer further includes one or more of (iv) a list of user's actions taken in response to the detected security threat, and (v) user's verdict indicating whether the detected security threat it harmful or harmless to the security of the user's computer. 16. The product of claim 13, wherein the received information about security of the user's computer includes one or more of (i) information about programs installed on the user's computer and (ii) information about user's usage of said programs. 17.
