A fluid heater method for a dialysis therapy comprising: synchronizing first and second duty cycles for first and second fluid heaters used for the dialysis therapy so that the first and second heaters are powered simultaneously as little as possible when a collective duty cycle for the first and second heaters exceeds one-hundred percent.
