The metal hollow foam article of claim 1 wherein said metal is selected from group consisting of chromium, cobalt, copper, gold, iron, lead, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, niobium, palladium, platinum, rhodium, silver, tin, titanium, tungsten, vanadium, zinc and their alloys. 4. The metal hollow foam article of claim 1 useful in a filtration device. 5. The metal hollow foam article of claim 1 useful in a body implantation device. 6.
