A substrate-mountable holder system comprising: a first portion, a cover, an anchor and at least one fastener, the first portion having a hook extending therefrom and at least one opening for receiving the fastener(s), a cover configured to engage the first portion and hide the fastener(s). The first portion may include a lobe proximate the top of the rear surface and a pad spaced from the lobe, the opening between the lobe and pad, for controlling deformation of the first portion. The first and second portions also may have a plurality of releasably engaging detents to lock the second portion in place, and the bottom of the second portion may angle rearward so as to bear against the substrate when the second portion is installed. Moreover, the first portion may include a barb on the lobe and/or one or more tangs extending from a recess in the rear surface of the first portion to embed in the substrate and inhibit rotation of the holder system.

A holder system according to claim 1, the first portion including a face angled with respect to the top and the first front surface proximate the top, and the second portion including a cam member on a rear surface. 5. A holder system according to claim 1, the first portion including a tang proximate the bottom and extending rearward. 6. A substrate-mountable holder system, comprising: a first portion comprising a base having a first front surface and a second front surface, a rear surface, a top and a bottom, a hook extending from proximate the bottom, a channel between the first and second front surfaces, and a plurality of detents within the channel; anda second portion for operatively engaging the first portion, the second portion having a plurality of tongue portions for engaging the channel and a plurality of detents on the tongue portions for engaging the plurality of detents within the channel. 9. A holder system according to claim 8, the first portion further comprising a lobe extending rearward from proximate the top and a pad spaced from the lobe and also extending rearward. 10. A holder system according to claim 9, wherein the lobe extends rearward a greater distance than the pad. 11. A holder system according to claim 9, wherein the pad tapers inward from a top towards a bottom. 12. A holder system according to claim 8, wherein the plurality of detents on the first portion are female detents and the plurality of detents on the second portion are male detents. 13. A holder system according to claim 8, wherein the plurality of detents on the second portion taper inwards towards the tongue portions from a top towards a bottom. 14. A substrate-mountable holder system, comprising: a first portion comprising a base having a first front surface and a second front surface, a rear surface, a top and a bottom, a hook extending from proximate the bottom, a lobe extending rearward from the rear surface proximate the top, a pad extending rearwardly from the rear surface, an opening for receiving a fastener extending from the first front surface to the rear surface, the opening between the lobe and the pad;a second portion for releasably engaging the first portion, the second portion having a rear edge; anda self-drilling drywall anchor having a bore, and a fastener for operatively engaging the first portion and the bore;wherein at least a portion of the rear edge is spaced from the substrate and a bottom of the rear edge engages the substrate when the first portion is installed on the substrate and the second portion engages the first portion. 15. A holder system according to claim 14, the second portion including at least one taper between the rear edge and a bottom of the second portion. 16. A holder system according to claim 14, further including a plurality of interfacing detents on the first portion and the second portion. 17. A holder system according to claim 14, the second portion including a barb extending rearwardly from the lobe. 18. A holder system according to claim 14, the second portion including at least one tang extending rearwardly from the rear surface. 19. A holder system according to claim 18, wherein at least one of the tangs has a base within a recess on the rear surface and is frangible proximate the base. 20. A holder system according to claim 14, further including a plurality of guides and at least one notch and at least one respective ear for guiding and connecting the second portion to the first portion.
