The thermo-electric engine of claim 1 further comprising a shell and wherein the turbine, the condenser, and the evaporator are housed within the shell. 6. The thermo-electric engine of claim 5 further comprising means for securing the shell to an external structure wherein the securing means comprises a plurality of flanges that project from the shell. 7. The thermo-electric engine of claim 5 further comprising a casing of insulative material within the shell wherein the casing of insulative material envelops the turbine, the condenser, the evaporator, and the alternator. 8. The thermo-electric engine of claim 1 wherein the turbine has a plurality of disks retained to rotate with the turbine shaft and wherein the disks are disposed to receive the working fluid thereon. 9. The thermo-electric engine of claim 8 wherein the turbine is unidirectional and wherein working fluid is received tangentially to only a single side of the disks.
