The compound of claim 1, wherein one of R7 or R8 is OC(O)CH3 and the other is hydrogen. 6. The compound of claim 1, wherein one of R7 or R8 is hydroxy and the other is hydrogen. 7. The compound of claim 1, wherein X2 is nitro. 8. The compound of claim 1, wherein n is 6. 9. The compound as in claim 1, wherein R is selected from hydrogen, Si(t-butyl)(CH3)2, and C(C6H5)(4-MeOC6H4)2. 10. The compound of claim 1, wherein at least one of X1, X3, and X4 is halogen. 11. The compound of claim 1, wherein R1 and R2 form a single bond; together R7 and R8 form a carbonyl; X1, X3, and X4 are hydrogen; X2 is —NH2; Y is methylene; n is 6; and Z is OR, wherein, R is CRaRbRc. 12.
