A golf club incorporating an interchangeable shaft system includes a shaft, a shaft sleeve, a club head. The shaft sleeve is coupled to an end of the shaft and is received in a hosel included in the club head. The shaft sleeve is removably coupled to the club head. Hosel and shaft sleeve alignment features provide discreet orientations between the shaft and club head.

1. A golf club, comprising: a golf club head including a hosel, at least one hosel indicium, and a plurality of hosel alignment features, wherein the hosel defines a sleeve bore and the hosel alignment features are disposed adjacent a proximal end of the hosel;an elongate shaft;a shaft sleeve couple
1. A golf club, comprising: a golf club head including a hosel, at least one hosel indicium, and a plurality of hosel alignment features, wherein the hosel defines a sleeve bore and the hosel alignment features are disposed adjacent a proximal end of the hosel;an elongate shaft;a shaft sleeve coupled to a distal end portion of the shaft, the shaft sleeve including a sleeve body, at least one sleeve indicium, and a plurality of sleeve alignment features;a wedge member including a plurality of wedge alignment features and wedge indicia, wherein the wedge member is interposed between the shaft sleeve and the hosel, wherein the wedge member includes end surfaces that are angled relative to each other, and wherein a first end surface abuts a portion of the shaft sleeve and a second end surface abuts a portion of the hosel to provide a wedge angle between the shaft sleeve and the hosel; anda fastener that releasably couples the shaft sleeve to the club head, wherein the hosel alignment features, sleeve alignment features and wedge alignment features comprise a plurality of complementary tangs and notches, wherein at least one of the hosel, sleeve and wedge indicia qualitatively indicate the configuration of the golf club related to at least one of face angle, lie angle and loft angle, andwherein the shaft sleeve defines a shaft bore that is angled relative to the sleeve body to provide a shaft angle between the shaft sleeve and the shaft. 2. The golf club of claim 1, wherein the plurality of hosel alignment features are notches extending through only a portion of a side wall of the hosel so that they do not intersect an outer surface of the hosel. 3. The golf club of claim 1, wherein the hosel alignment features are generally trapezoidal in a cross-section taken in a plane that is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the hosel. 4. The golf club of claim 3, wherein the hosel alignment features taper so that they define a narrowest portion oriented toward a sole of the golf club head. 5. The golf club of claim 1, wherein the sleeve alignment features are generally trapezoidal in a cross-section taken in a plane that is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the sleeve body. 6. The golf club of claim 5, wherein the sleeve alignment features taper so that they define a narrowest portion oriented toward a distal end of the sleeve. 7. The golf club of claim 1, wherein a plurality of the hosel, sleeve and wedge indicia include letters that directly correspond to the configuration of the golf club related to at least one of face angle, lie angle and loft angle. 8. The golf club of claim 1, wherein the magnitudes of the wedge angle and the shaft angle are different. 9. A golf club, comprising: a golf club head including a hosel, at least one hosel indicium, and a plurality of hosel alignment features, wherein the hosel defines a sleeve bore and the hosel alignment features are disposed adjacent a proximal end of the hosel;an elongate shaft;a shaft sleeve coupled to a distal end portion of the shaft, the shaft sleeve including a sleeve body, at least one sleeve indicium, and a plurality of sleeve alignment features;a wedge member including a plurality of wedge alignment features and wedge indicia, wherein the wedge member is interposed between the shaft sleeve and the hosel, wherein the wedge member includes end surfaces that are angled relative to each other, and wherein a first end surface abuts a portion of the shaft sleeve and a second end surface abuts a portion of the hosel to provide a wedge angle between the shaft sleeve and the hosel; anda fastener that releasably couples the shaft sleeve to the club head, wherein the hosel alignment features, sleeve alignment features and wedge alignment features comprise a plurality of complementary tangs and notches, wherein the hosel alignment features each taper in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the hosel, wherein the sleeve alignment features each taper in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the sleeve body, wherein the wedge alignment features are tapered to complement the mating hosel and sleeve alignment features, wherein at least one of the hosel, sleeve and wedge indicia qualitatively indicate the configuration of the golf club related to at least one of face angle, lie angle and loft angle, andwherein the shaft sleeve defines a shaft bore that is angled relative to the sleeve body to provide a shaft angle between the shaft sleeve and the shaft. 10. The golf club of claim 9, wherein the plurality of hosel alignment features are notches extending through only a portion of a side wall of the hosel so that they do not intersect an outer surface of the hosel. 11. The golf club of claim 9, wherein the hosel alignment features are generally trapezoidal in a cross-section taken in a plane that is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the hosel. 12. The golf club of claim 11, wherein the hosel alignment features taper so that they define a narrowest portion oriented toward a sole of the golf club head. 13. The golf club of claim 9, wherein the sleeve alignment features are generally trapezoidal in a cross-section taken in a plane that is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the sleeve body. 14. The golf club of claim 13, wherein the sleeve alignment features taper so that they define a narrowest portion oriented toward a distal end of the sleeve. 15. The golf club of claim 9, wherein a plurality of the hosel, sleeve and wedge indicia include letters that directly correspond to the configuration of the golf club related to at least one of face angle, lie angle and loft angle. 16. The golf club of claim 9, wherein the magnitudes of the wedge angle and the shaft angle are different. 17. A golf club, comprising: a golf club head including a hosel, at least one hosel indicium, and a plurality of hosel alignment features, wherein the hosel defines a sleeve bore and the hosel alignment features are disposed adjacent a proximal end of the hosel;an elongate shaft;a shaft sleeve coupled to a distal end portion of the shaft, the shaft sleeve including a sleeve body, at least one sleeve indicium, and a plurality of sleeve alignment features;a wedge member including a plurality of wedge alignment features and wedge indicia, wherein the wedge member is interposed between the shaft sleeve and the hosel, wherein the wedge member includes end surfaces that are angled relative to each other, and wherein a first end surface abuts a portion of the shaft sleeve and a second end surface abuts a portion of the hosel to provide a wedge angle between the shaft sleeve and the hosel; anda fastener that releasably couples the shaft sleeve to the club head, wherein the hosel alignment features, sleeve alignment features and wedge alignment features comprise a plurality of complementary tangs and notches, wherein the hosel alignment features are generally trapezoidal in a cross-section taken in a plane that is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the hosel, wherein at least a plurality of the hosel, sleeve and wedge indicia include letters that directly correspond to the configuration of the golf club related to at least one of face angle, lie angle and loft angle, andwherein the shaft sleeve defines a shaft bore that is angled relative to the sleeve body to provide a shaft angle between the shaft sleeve and the shaft. 18.
