Skibobs are disclosed having features for conveying the skibob with rider on a moving chairlift while the rider remains mounted on the seat of the skibob. The frame and suspension are configured for elevating the underside of the skibob seat above the level of the chairlift bench during loading, so that the chairlift bench, while moving forward from behind the rider, can pick up the skibob, rider and all, and carry the mounted rider up the ski slope without falling. As the undercarriage of the skibob is lifted off the snow, the rider is deposited on the chairlift bench so that the seat of the skibob is secured in place by the weight of the rider on the seat. During offloading, the skibob is nonetheless readily disengaged from the chairlift bench with an active boost from the suspension and optional spring-loaded seat as the undercarriage contacts the offloading platform, permitting the rider to ski away from the chairlift without dismounting the skibob, thus improving ease of use for riders with limits in physical capacity. These and other features of the invention are a benefit to disabled persons in gaining access to the ski slopes.

1. A method for conveying a skibob and rider on a moving benchrest of a chairlift up a ski slope, the ski slope having a bottom with loading platform and a top with offloading platform, which comprises,a) providing a skibob to a rider, said skibob having a frame with anterior aspect for attaching a front ski and posterior aspect for attaching a rear ski;a seat member mounted on said posterior aspect of said frame, the seat member having a seat for seating a rider and an undersurface with benchrest receiving space for supportedly resting on the benchrest, and further wherein said seat member is configured with a first position pivotedly elevated in relation to said rear ski, a second position pivotedly lowered in relation to said rear ski, and at least one spring means operatively linking the seat member to the rear ski through the frame so as to springedly store energy when pivoted from said first position to said second position and to springedly release energy when pivoted from said second position to said first position;b) riding on the moving benchrest while seated on said seat; and,c) assistedly dismounting from the benchrest while remaining astride the skibob by springedly storing energy when said seat is pivoted from said first position to said second position by an upthrust of said rear ski in contact with the ascending foreslope of the offloading platform of the chairlift and translating the stored energy into forward momentum of the skibob as said seat member slides forward off said benchrest at the top of the offloading platform. 2. The method of claim 1, comprising seatedly mounting the moving benchrest by:a) entering the loading platform at the bottom of the skilift while astride said skibob;b) pivoting said seat member into said first position so as to receive a moving benchrest into said benchrest receiving space;c) seatedly riding on said seat of said skibob while on the benchrest; andd) configuring said spring means with a spring force and a mechanical advantage for assistedly pivoting said seat member from said second position to said first position. 3. The method of claim 2, comprising remaining astride the skibob while riding from the bottom to the top of the ski slope and back to the bottom in one full riding cycle. 4. The method of claim 2, further comprising a step for leaning forward to springedly pivot said seat member into said first position. 5. A method for conveying a skibob and rider on a moving benchrest of a chairlift up a ski slope, the ski slope having a bottom with loading platform and a top with offloading platform, which comprises a) providing a skibob having: i) a frame having an anterior leg member for attaching a front ski and a posterior leg member for attaching a rear ski;ii) a seat member rearwardly cantilevered from a supraposterior aspect of said frame, wherein said seat member comprises a rearwardly cantilevered seat arm and a seat posteriorly disposed thereon for seating a rider;iii) wherein said rearwardly cantilevered seat arm and said posterior leg member define a benchrest receiving space therebetween, said benchrest receiving space for receiving the moving benchrest of the chairlift supportingly therein;iv) further wherein said rear leg member is pivotably attached to said frame at an inferiorposterior pivot thereon; andv) a rear suspension with shock absorber, said shock absorber connecting at a first nose to said posterior leg member and at a second nose to said frame; wherein said shock absorber is configured to operate with said posterior leg member by compressingly storing energy in said shock absorber when said posterior leg member is up-thrustingly pivoted in relation to said frame by contact of said rear ski with the foreslope of the offloading platform and decompressingly releasing energy from said shock absorber when said posterior leg member is downwardly pivoted in relation to said frame and said seat member slides forward off the benchrest at the top of the offloading platform;b) riding in a full circle from the bottom of the ski slope to the top and back to the bottom while remaining astride said skibob. 6. The method of claim 5, further comprising providing instructions to a rider, said instructions having steps for: a) when entering the loading platform at the bottom of the ski slope, riding on said seat and orienting said skibob so that said posterior aspect is facing toward the moving benchrest of the chairlift;b) receiving the moving benchrest into said benchrest receiving space; andc) remaining stably seated on said seat when the benchrest supportingly lifts said skibob from the loading platform. 7. The method of claim 5, further comprising providing instructions to a rider, said instructions having steps for: a) when entering the loading platform, riding on said seat and orienting said skibob so that said posterior aspect is facing toward the moving benchrest of the chairlift;b) springedly raising the seat to an elevated position by leaning forward;c) receiving the moving benchrest into said underside benchrest receiving space; andd) remaining stably seated on said seat when the benchrest supportingly lifts said skibob from the loading platform. 8. The method claim 5, further comprising providing instructions to a rider, said instructions providing steps for: a) pointing said front ski in the direction of travel when approaching the offloading platform at the top of the ski slope; andb) using the stored energy of the shock absorber to accelerate down the exit ramp of the offloading platform ahead of the benchrest without dismounting from the skibob. 9. The method of claim 5, further comprising pivotably mounting said seat member on said frame and springedly biasing said seat member to pivot on said frame, wherein the spring bias and pivot of said seat member and the shock absorber and pivot of said posterior leg member are each configured to cooperatively store energy in pivoting to a first position wherein said seat is lowered in relation to said posterior leg member and to cooperatively release energy in pivoting to a second position wherein said seat is raised in relation to said posterior leg member. 10. The method of claim 9, wherein said spring bias is communicated to said seat member through a lever arm. 11. The method of claim 5, further comprising configuring said posterior leg member with a mechanical linkage, whereby said shock absorber is operatively connected from said frame to said posterior leg member via a follower link pin or a coupler link pin of said mechanical linkage.
