The side-hung door or window single latch lock according to claim 2, wherein the first handle is rotatably mounted on a side of the first lock body opposite to the latch, wherein a hand controlled end portion of the first handle extends out of the first lock body, an opposite end portion thereof is provided with a link, and the link is rotatably connected to a first handle mounting base of the internal cavity of the first lock body and linked to the latch at an outer end thereof. 4.
