The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the housing, the output structure, the lever and the motor are interconnected as parts of a handheld tool. 3. The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising: a spring that biases the lever into a neutral position, and enables the lever to be pivoted, against the bias, into a first pivoted position by depressing the rear end and into a second pivoted position by depressing the front end. 4. The apparatus of claim 3 wherein the spring is located within the valve. 5. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the length of the lever is more than half the length of the housing. 6. The apparatus of claim 5 wherein the length of the lever is about two thirds the length of the housing.
