The apparatus as set forth in claim 1 wherein the anatomical site is a glenoid. 3. The apparatus as set forth in claim 1 wherein the curved hollow guide has a curved angle of about 0° to about 90°. 4. The apparatus as set forth in claim 3, wherein the curved hollow guide has a curved angle of about 0° to about 25°. 5. The apparatus as set forth in claim 1, wherein the shafts of the flexible drill and flexible inserter are substantially cannulated and comprise a thickness between an outer surface and an inner surface. 6. The apparatus as set forth in claim 5, wherein the discrete, interlocking segments are constructed from a solid, continuous length of material. 7. The apparatus as set forth in claim 6, wherein the discrete, interlocking segments are constructed from the solid, continuous length of material by a plurality of laser cuts. 8. The apparatus as set forth in claim 7, wherein the plurality of laser cuts extend completely through the thickness of the shaft of at least one of the flexible drill and flexible inserter. 9. The system as set forth in claim 5, wherein the shafts of the flexible drill and the flexible inserter are constructed from a material comprising hypodermic tubing, polymer, or stainless steel. 10. A system for implanting an anchor into bone, the system comprising: a curved cannulated guide for percautaneous insertion, having a proximal end and a distal end;a flexible drill insertable through the curved guide from the proximal end to the distal end, the flexible drill having a shaft having a flexible portion; anda flexible inserter for inserting a suture anchor into a bore at the anatomical site formed by the flexible drill, the flexible inserter having a shaft having a flexible portion,wherein the flexible portions of both the flexible drill and flexible inserter include a series of discrete, interlocking segments. 11. The system as set forth in claim 10, further comprising a flexible obturator insertable through the curved guide from the proximal end to the distal end. 12. The system as set forth in claim 10, wherein the bone is a glenoid. 13. The system as set forth in claim 10, wherein the curved guide shaft has a curved angle of about 0° to about 90°. 14. The system as set forth in claim 10, wherein the curved guide shaft has a curved angle of about 0° to about 25°. 15. The system as set forth in claim 10, wherein the discrete, interlocking segments are constructed from a material comprising hypodermic tubing, polymer, or stainless steel. 16.
