A substrate-mountable holder system, comprising: a first portion comprising a base having first and second front surfaces, a rear surface, a top and a bottom, a hook extending from proximate the bottom, a lobe extending rearwardly from a rear surface proximate the top, a pad extending rearwardly from the rear surface, an opening for receiving an anchor extending through the base, the opening between the lobe and the pad; and a second portion for operatively engaging the first portion; wherein the first and second portions each include at least one, and preferably a plurality of, interfacing protrusions and indentations for engaging the second portion with the first portion. Each of the protrusions and indentations on the first and second portions may be proximate the bottom of their respective portions. The system further may include a self-drilling drywall anchor having a bore, and a fastener for operatively engaging the first portion and the bore.

A substrate-mountable holder system, comprising: a first portion comprising a base having a first front surface and a second front surface, a rear surface, a top and a bottom, a hook extending from proximate the bottom, a lobe extending rearwardly from a rear surface proximate the top, an opening for receiving a fastener extending from the first front surface to the rear surface; anda second portion for operatively engaging the first portion;wherein said first portion and said second portion each include an interfacing protrusion and indentation for engaging said second portion with said first portion; andwherein said protrusion on said first portion extends axially outward from a side of said first portion, and said indentation on said first portion extends axially inward from said protrusion and said side. 2. A holder system according to claim 1, further comprising: a self-drilling drywall anchor having a bore, and a fastener for operatively engaging the first portion and the bore. 3. A holder system according to claim 1, wherein said first portion and said second portion each include a plurality of interfacing protrusions and indentations for engaging said second portion with said first portion. 4. A holder system according to claim 3, wherein each of said protrusions and each of said indentations on said first portion are proximate said bottom of said first portion. 5. A holder system according to claim 3, wherein each of said protrusions and each of said indentations on said second portion are proximate a bottom of said second portion along said rear edge. 6. A holder system according to claim 1, wherein said indentation on said first portion has a first slope extending away from said protrusion, a nadir, and a second slope extending away from said nadir. 7. A holder system according to claim 6, wherein said first slope is steeper than said second slope. 8. A substrate-mountable holder system, comprising: a first portion comprising a base having a first front surface and a second front surface, a rear surface, a top and a bottom, a hook extending from proximate the bottom, and a channel between the first and second front surfaces; anda second portion for operatively engaging the first portion, the second portion having a plurality of tongue portions for engaging the channel;wherein the rear surface extends substantially from the top to the bottom and is configured to be disposed against a substrate; and furtherwherein said first portion and said second portion each include a set of releasably interfacing protrusions and indentations. 9. A holder system according to claim 8, the first portion further comprising a lobe extending rearward from proximate the top and a pad spaced from the lobe and also extending rearward. 10. A holder system according to claim 9, said first portion including an opening for receiving a fastener, wherein said pad is substantially aligned with an edge of said opening. 11. A holder system according to claim 9, further comprising: a self-drilling drywall anchor having a bore, and a fastener for operatively engaging the first portion and the bore. 12. A holder system according to claim 11, said pad having an upper edge, said anchor having a head with a radius, said first portion including an opening for receiving said fastener, and said opening having a center, wherein said upper edge of said pad is spaced from said center by a distance less than said radius. 13. A holder system according to claim 8, wherein said protrusion on said first portion is larger than said protrusion on said second portion. 14. A substrate-mountable holder system, comprising: a first portion comprising a base having a first front surface and a second front surface with a channel therebetween, a rear surface, a top and a bottom, a hook extending from proximate the bottom, a lobe extending rearward from the rear surface proximate the top, an opening for receiving a fastener extending from the first front surface to the rear surface, a pad extending rearwardly from the rear surface substantially adjacent to said opening;a second portion for releasably engaging the first portion, the second portion having a plurality of tongue portions extending downward for engaging said channel, wherein said tongue portions extend from rails along a back of said second portion; anda self-drilling drywall anchor having a bore, and a fastener for operatively engaging the first portion and the bore. 15. A holder system according to claim 14, the second portion including a barb extending rearwardly from the lobe. 16. A holder system according to claim 14, the second portion including at least one tang extending rearwardly from the rear surface. 17. A holder system according to claim 16, wherein at least one of the tangs has a base within a recess on the rear surface and is frangible proximate the base. 18. A holder system according to claim 14, further including a plurality of guides and at least one notch and at least one respective ear for guiding and connecting the second portion to the first portion. 19. A holder system according to claim 14, wherein each of said rails extends substantially a length of said second portion, and further wherein each of said rails includes a channel along substantially a length of said rail.
