While receiving content for a service at a user device via a particular delivery route, detecting a request for delivery of subsequent content for the service via a secure alternate delivery route. The user device may concurrently receive delivery of the subsequent content via the particular delivery route and the secure alternate delivery route. The detected request may be generated based on QoS associated with the received content of the service. The detected request may be received from a communication network and may comprise identification information for the particular delivery route. The secure alternate delivery route may be determined based on the identification information for the particular delivery route. A communication session profile may be generated and/or determined based on the secure alternate delivery route. The communication session profile is utilized for the requested delivery of the further content via the secure alternate delivery route.

The method according to claim 1, comprising receiving said detected request from a communication network. 3. The method according to claim 1, wherein said request comprises identification information for said particular delivery route. 4. The method according to claim 3, wherein said secure alternate delivery route is determined based on said identification information for said particular delivery route. 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein a communication session profile is generated based on said secure alternate delivery route. 6. The method according to claim 5, wherein said generated communication session profile is utilized for said requested delivery of said subsequent content via said secure alternate delivery route. 7. The method according to claim 1, wherein a connection security profile is established based on said secure alternate delivery route. 8. The method according to claim 7, wherein said established connection security profile is utilized for said requested delivery of said subsequent content via said secure alternate delivery route. 9. The method according to claim 1, wherein said subsequent content for said service is delivered via said secure alternate delivery route prior to releasing associated resources for said particular route. 10. The method according to claim 1, wherein said particular route is deactivated subsequent to receiving by said user device, said requested delivery of said subsequent content via said secure alternate delivery route. 11. A system for communication, the system comprising: one or more circuits for use in a user device, wherein said one or more circuits are operable to, while receiving content for a service at said user device via a particular delivery route, detect a request for delivery of subsequent content for said service via a secure alternate delivery route, wherein a connection security profile for said secure alternate delivery route is established based on security capabilities supported by said user device in response to said request, and wherein said detected request is generated based on quality of service (QoS) associated with said content of said service received via said particular delivery route; andsaid one or more circuits are operable to concurrently receive by said user device, said requested delivery of said subsequent content via said particular delivery route and said secure alternate delivery route. 12. The system according to claim 11, wherein said one or more circuits are operable to receive said detected request from a communication network. 13. The system according to claim 11, wherein said request comprises identification information for said particular delivery route. 14. The system according to claim 13, wherein said secure alternate delivery route is determined based on said identification information for said particular delivery route. 15. The system according to claim 11, wherein a communication session profile is generated based on said secure alternate delivery route. 16. The system according to claim 15, wherein said generated communication session profile is utilized for said requested delivery of said subsequent content via said secure alternate delivery route. 17. The system according to claim 11, wherein a connection security profile is established based on said secure alternate delivery route. 18. The system according to claim 17, wherein said established connection security profile is utilized for said requested delivery of said subsequent content via said secure alternate delivery route. 19. The system according to claim 11, wherein said subsequent content for said service is delivered via said secure alternate delivery route prior to releasing associated resources for said particular route. 20. A system for communication, the system comprising: one or more circuits for use in a user device, wherein said one or more circuits are operable to, while receiving content for a service at said user device via a particular delivery route, detect a request for delivery of subsequent content for said service via a secure alternate delivery route, wherein a connection security profile for said secure alternate delivery route is established based on security capabilities supported by said user device in response to said request, and wherein said detected request is generated based on quality of service (QoS) associated with said content of said service received via said particular delivery route; and said one or more circuits are operable to concurrently receive by said user device, said requested delivery of said subsequent content via said particular delivery route and said secure alternate delivery route, wherein said particular route is deactivated subsequent to receiving by said user device, said requested delivery of said subsequent content via said secure alternate delivery route.
