More than about seventy percent (70%) of the coffee grinds may include a particle size distribution of between about 200 to about 300 microns. The coffee grinds may have a weight of the about five (5) to about eight (8) grams.

The coffee pod of claim 1, wherein the coffee grinds comprise about eight (8) grams for a high intensity beverage. 6. The coffee pod of claim 1, wherein the substantially rigid base may withstand a pressure of about 10 to about 12 bar. 7. A brewable material pod, comprising: a substantially rigid sidewall;a substantially rigid base; andan amount of a brewable material positioned therein;wherein more than about seventy percent (70%) of the amount of brewable material comprises a particle size distribution of between about 200 to about 300 microns;wherein up to about 30% of the amount of brewable material comprises a particle size distribution of less than about 100 microns; andwherein the amount of brewable material comprise a weight of the about five (5) to about eight (8) grams. 8. The brewable material pod of claim 7, wherein the amount of brewable material comprises coffee grinds. 9. The brewable material pod of claim 7, wherein the amount of brewable material comprises tea leaves. 10. The coffee pod of claim 1, wherein about eighty-five percent (85%) of the coffee grinds comprise a particle size distribution of about 250 microns and wherein about fifteen percent (15%) of the coffee grinds comprise a particle size distribution of about 40 microns. 11. The brewable material pod of claim 7, wherein about eighty-five percent (85%) of the amount of brewable materials comprises a particle size distribution of about 250 microns and wherein about fifteen percent (15%) of the amount of brewable material comprises a particle size distribution of about 40 microns. 12. The brewable material pod of claim 7, wherein the substantially rigid base may withstand a pressure of about 10 to about 12 bar.
