The utility vehicle of claim 1, wherein: at least one of the plurality of sensors comprises a Hall effect sensor for detecting a position of a rotor of the AC electric auxiliary motor; andthe auxiliary controller is further in communication with the Hall effect sensor. 3. The utility vehicle of claim 1, wherein the auxiliary mechanism comprises a cutting blade mechanism. 4. The utility vehicle of claim 1, further comprising a data bus that provides communication between the traction controller and the auxiliary controller. 5. The utility vehicle of claim 1, wherein the AC electric auxiliary motor comprises an AC PMSM motor. 6. The utility vehicle of claim 1, wherein the auxiliary controller further comprises a 3-phase bridge circuit for driving the AC electric auxiliary motor. 7. The utility vehicle of claim 1, further comprising a digital signal processor programmed with a field oriented control algorithm to generate at least one driver signal for driving the AC electric auxiliary motor. 8. A utility vehicle comprising: a plurality of vehicle systems comprising a steering system, an accelerator system, a power system, a traction system, and an auxiliary system;a plurality of operator interfaces for operating the utility vehicle each associated with one of the plurality of vehicle systems;a plurality of sensors each associated with at least one of the plurality of vehicle systems; andan electric motor control system in communication with the plurality of vehicle systems, the plurality of operator interfaces, and the plurality of sensors;the traction system comprising: at least one drivable wheel; andat least one electric drive transaxle engaged with the at least one drivable wheel;the auxiliary system comprising: an auxiliary mechanism; andan AC electric auxiliary motor engaged with the auxiliary mechanism;the electric motor control system comprising: a traction controller in communication with the steering system, the accelerator system, at least one of the plurality of operator interfaces, at least one of the plurality of sensors, the power system, the auxiliary system, and the at least one electric drive transaxle of the traction system; andan auxiliary controller in communication with the traction controller, the power system, and the AC electric auxiliary motor, the auxiliary controller comprising: a digital signal processor configured to receive and process data signals received from at least one of the plurality of vehicle systems, and output at least one driver signal for driving the AC electric auxiliary motor;an analog/digital interface in communication with the digital signal processor and configured to receive analog data signals from at least one of the plurality of vehicle systems, convert the analog data signals to digital data signals, and send the digital data signals to the digital signal processor; andan oscillator in communication with the digital signal processor to effectuate output of a clocking signal for the digital signal processor. 9. The utility vehicle of claim 8, wherein the auxiliary controller applies field oriented control to the AC electric auxiliary motor and controls the AC electric auxiliary motor via at least one DC control technique with the at least one driver signal. 10. The utility vehicle of claim 9, wherein: at least one of the plurality of sensors comprises a Hall effect sensor for detecting a position of a rotor of the AC electric auxiliary motor; andthe auxiliary controller is further in communication with the Hall effect sensor. 11. The utility vehicle of claim 9, wherein the field oriented control comprises sensorless field oriented control. 12. The utility vehicle of claim 11, wherein the digital signal processor has processor executable instructions stored therein for performing the steps of: receiving three phase signals each indicative of one of each phase of AC current in the AC electric auxiliary motor;converting the phase signals into a DC reference frame utilizing a Clark Transform, a Park Transform, a rotor position estimator, and a speed estimator;receiving at least one control signal associated with the AC electric auxiliary motor and determining a desired speed of the AC electric auxiliary motor;applying an Inverse Park Transform and the Clark Transform to the DC reference frame to determine an error between an actual magnetic flux associated with the estimators and a desired magnetic flux associated with the desired speed; andgenerating the at least one driver signal as a plurality of pulse-width modulated control signals based on the error to drive the AC electric auxiliary motor. 13. The utility vehicle of claim 8, wherein the auxiliary mechanism comprises a cutting blade mechanism. 14. The utility vehicle of claim 8, further comprising a data bus that provides communication between the traction controller and the auxiliary controller. 15. The utility vehicle of claim 8, wherein the AC electric auxiliary motor comprises an AC PMSM motor. 16. The utility vehicle of claim 8, wherein the auxiliary controller further comprises a 3-phase bridge circuit for driving the AC electric auxiliary motor. 17. The utility vehicle of claim 8, wherein the digital signal processor is programmed with a field oriented control algorithm to generate the at least one driver signal. 18. A utility vehicle comprising: a plurality of vehicle systems comprising a steering system, an accelerator system, a power system, a traction system, and an auxiliary system;a plurality of operator interfaces for operating the utility vehicle each associated with one of the plurality of vehicle systems;a plurality of sensors each associated with at least one of the plurality of vehicle systems; andan electric motor control system in communication with the plurality of vehicle systems, the plurality of operator interfaces, and the plurality of sensors;the traction system comprising: at least one drivable wheel; andat least one electric drive transaxle engaged with the at least one drivable wheel;the auxiliary system comprising: a first auxiliary mechanism and a first AC electric auxiliary motor engaged with the first auxiliary mechanism; anda second auxiliary mechanism and a second AC electric auxiliary motor engaged with the second auxiliary mechanism;the electric motor control system comprising: a traction controller in communication with the steering system, the accelerator system, at least one of the plurality of operator interfaces, at least one of the plurality of sensors, the power system, the auxiliary system, and the at least one electric drive transaxle of the traction system; andan auxiliary control system in communication with the fraction controller, the power system, the first AC electric auxiliary motor, and the second AC electric auxiliary motor, the auxiliary control system comprising: a first controller;a second controller;a common interface in communication with the first controller and the second controller;a first power inverter in communication with the common interface and the first AC electric auxiliary motor; anda second power inverter in communication with the common interface and the second AC electric auxiliary motor;wherein each of the first controller and the second controller applies field oriented control to the first AC electric auxiliary motor and the second AC electric auxiliary motor and controls the first AC electric auxiliary motor and the second AC electric auxiliary motor via at least one DC control technique. 19. The utility vehicle of claim 18, wherein the first auxiliary mechanism and the second auxiliary mechanism each comprises a cutting blade mechanism. 20. The utility vehicle of claim 18, wherein the first AC electric auxiliary motor and the second AC electric auxiliary motor each comprises an AC PMSM motor. 21. The utility vehicle of claim 18, wherein: at least one of the plurality of sensors comprises a Hall effect sensor for detecting a position of a rotor of the first AC electric auxiliary motor and the second AC electric auxiliary motor; andthe auxiliary control system is further in communication with the Hall effect sensor.
