A hand-held vessel has a bottom wall, a sidewall and a supportive strap attached to the bottom wall and the sidewall. The bottom wall and sidewall have an inner and outer surface. The sidewall extends from the bottom wall, whereby the inner surfaces of the bottom wall and sidewall define a cavity for holding fluids or loose materials therein. The strap has a first end and a second end, whereby the first end is fixedly attached to the sidewall and the second end is selectively secured to the bottom wall. The strap is adaptable to accept a user's hand disposed between the strap and the outer surface of the sidewall. The strap urges the hand against the outer surface of the sidewall to secure the vessel to the hand and stabilize the vessel with respect to movement relative to the hand.

1. A hand-held vessel comprising: a container having a bottom wall and a sidewall extending upwardly from the bottom wall, the bottom wall and sidewall having an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the inner surface defines a cavity having a top opening which is opposite the bottom wall, wherein the sidewall has a front side and a rear side, the rear side of the sidewall defining a rear indentation adjacent to the bottom wall, and wherein the outer surface of the bottom wall defines a recessed groove accessible by the rear indentation in the sidewall; anda strap connected to the outer surface at a first connection on the rear side of the sidewall adjacent to the top opening, wherein the strap is further extendable through the rear indentation in the sidewall and connectable to the outer surface at a second connection along the bottom wall within the recessed groove, and wherein the strap and the outer surface on the rear side of the sidewall define a passage to receive a user's hand to urge a palm of the user's hand against the outer surface of the rear side of the sidewall. 2. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 wherein the top opening of the cavity is larger than the bottom wall. 3. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 wherein the strap has an intermediate section that is free of openings therethrough. 4. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 further comprising a magnet affixed on the container. 5. The hand-held vessel of claim 4 wherein the magnet is disposed as a retainer along the inner surface and rear side of the sidewall generally opposite the first connection and below the top opening of the cavity. 6. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 wherein the strap comprises a thermoplastic elastomer. 7. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 wherein at the first connection, the strap is integrally formed with an upper rim section of the container. 8. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 wherein the bottom wall defines a bottom plane for the container when the container is positioned in an upright orientation, and wherein, when the strap extends through the rear indentation in the sidewall and is connected to the outer surface at the second connection along the bottom wall within the recessed groove, the strap does not extend below the bottom plane of the container. 9. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 wherein the strap has at least one first engagement member, the outer surface of the bottom wall has at least one second engagement member within the recessed groove, and wherein the first engagement member mates with the second engagement member. 10. The hand-held vessel of claim 9 wherein the first engagement member is a hole and the second engagement member is a protrusion extending from the outer surface of the bottom wall within the recessed groove. 11. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 comprising a living hinge proximate the first connection. 12. The hand-held vessel of claim 1 wherein an upper rim section of the container comprises a scraping lip. 13. A hand-held vessel comprising: a first part comprising: a bottom wall having an outer surface that defines a recessed groove;a sidewall extending from the bottom wall, wherein the sidewall and the bottom wall define a cavity having a lower portion adjacent to the bottom wall and an upper portion that has a lateral cross-sectional dimension that is larger than a lateral cross-sectional dimension of the lower portion; andan indentation in the sidewall adjacent to the bottom wall that accesses the recessed groove;a second part comprising: a rim portion attached to the sidewall adjacent to the upper portion of the cavity such that the rim portion extends around the upper portion of the cavity; anda strap comprising: a first end integrally formed with the rim portion;a second end configured to extend through the indentation of the sidewall and to connect to the bottom wall within the recessed groove; anda longitudinal length between the first end and the second end, wherein, when the second end is connected to the bottom wall, the second end of the strap extends through the indentation of the side wall and the longitudinal length of the strap extends along the sidewall to define a passage between the strap and the sidewall that extends between the rim portion and the bottom wall. 14. The hand-held vessel of claim 13, wherein the rim portion and the strap are each derived from a thermoplastic elastomer. 15. The hand-held vessel of claim 14, wherein the sidewall is derived from polypropylene. 16. The hand-held vessel of claim 13, wherein the sidewall comprises: a lower wall portion extending from the bottom wall; andan upper wall portion extending between the lower wall portion to the rim portion, wherein the upper wall portion extends at an angle from the lower wall portion. 17. The hand-held vessel of claim 13, wherein the second end of the strap is connectable to the bottom wall within the recessed groove at multiple locations along the second end of the strap. 18. A hand-held vessel comprising: a bottom wall having an outer surface with a recessed groove;a lower sidewall portion extending upwardly from the bottom wall;a rear indentation in the lower sidewall portion at a rear intersection of the bottom wall and the lower sidewall portion, the rear indentation being accessible to the recessed groove;an upper sidewall portion extending at a first angle from the lower sidewall portion;a rim portion extending at a second angle from the upper sidewall portion, wherein the bottom wall, the lower sidewall portion, the upper sidewall portion, and the rim portion define a fluid holding cavity; anda strap comprising: a first end connected to the rim portion;a second end extendable through the rear indentation and connectable to the bottom wall within the recessed groove; anda segment extending between the first end and the second end, the segment being resiliently deformable to urge a palm of a received user's hand against the upper sidewall portion and the lower sidewall portion. 19. The hand-held vessel of claim 18, wherein the first end of the strap is integrally formed with the rim portion. 20. The hand-held vessel of claim 18, wherein the second end of the strap is connectable to the bottom wall at multiple locations along the second end of the strap. 21. The hand-held vessel of claim 18, wherein the second end of the strap comprises a plurality of holes, and wherein the bottom wall further comprises at least one protrusion extending from the outer surface of the bottom wall within the recessed groove. 22. The hand-held vessel of claim 21, wherein each of the at least one protrusion comprises a hole axially aligned with a length of the at least one protrusion. 23.
