A plurality of tent weight plates are adapted to be stacked one upon another in use on a tent leg and in transport on a cart. A base plate on the lower-most weight plate includes an extension beyond the plates to which a tent leg is secured. The weight plates include a tab matingly received in a track between rails on the cart to prevent shifting of the plates on the cart.
