A pressed double layer lip hydration bottle is taught that incorporates a single wall stainless steel cylindrical body having an enclosed bottom, an open top, and a reduced diameter neck. The neck includes formed threads which protrude inwardly within the neck, A stainless steel ferrule is tightly fitted onto the outside surface of the neck.
