In certain embodiments of the present invention, a vehicle trailer is described that further includes a shelf component. The shelf component is separate from the rain gutter component. The shelf component extends from the rear wall of the trailer and includes a sloped surface.

A vehicle trailer comprising: a roof and a floor separated from each other by a pair of side walls and a rear wall, the pair of side walls extending at least partially along the length of the floor, the roof having a front edge and a rear edge;a rain gutter component defining a sloped surface extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge, the rain gutter component being positioned adjacent to the roof such that a portion of the rain gutter component proximate to or including the leading edge contacts the roof and the trailing edge of the rain gutter component extends beyond the rear edge of the roof, the rain gutter component configured such that a distance of the sloped surface from the roof increases as the rain gutter component extends from the leading edge; anda shelf component, the shelf component being separate from the rain gutter component, the shelf component extending from the rear wall and comprising a sloped surface extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge such that a portion of the shelf component proximate to or including the leading edge contacts the rear wall and the trailing edge of the shelf component extends away from the rear wall. 2. The vehicle trailer of claim 1, wherein the shelf component is inclined downwardly at an angle from about 10 degrees to about 20 degrees. 3. The vehicle trailer of claim 1, wherein the shelf component is inclined downwardly at an angle from about 12 degrees to about 16 degrees. 4. The vehicle trailer of claim 2, wherein the shelf component is configured to movably articulate between a range of different angles. 5. The vehicle trailer of claim 1, wherein the shelf component is divided into two halves. 6. The vehicle trailer of claim 5, wherein the rear wall comprises two doors. 7. The vehicle trailer of claim 6, wherein the two doors can swing open about 270 degrees. 8. The vehicle trailer of claim 1, wherein the rain gutter component is inclined downwardly at an angle from about 10 degrees to about 20 degrees. 9. The vehicle trailer of claim 1, wherein the rain gutter component is inclined downwardly at an angle from about 12 degrees to about 16 degrees. 10. A kit for retrofitting an existing vehicle trailer, the existing vehicle trailer including a roof and a floor separated from each other by a pair of side walls and a rear wall, the pair of side walls extending at least partially along the length of the roof and floor, the roof having a front edge and a rear edge, the kit comprising: a rain gutter component defining a sloped surface extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge, the rain gutter component being configured to be positioned adjacent to the roof such that a portion of the rain gutter component proximate to or including the leading edge contacts the roof and the trailing edge of the rain gutter component extends beyond the rear edge of the roof, the rain gutter component configured such that a distance of the sloped surface from the roof increases as the rain gutter component extends from the leading edge; anda shelf component, the shelf component being separate from the rain gutter component, the shelf component being configured to extend from the rear wall and comprise a sloped surface extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge such that a portion of the shelf component proximate to or including the leading edge is configured to contact the rear wall while the trailing edge of the shelf component extends away from the rear wall. 11. A method of retrofitting a vehicle trailer, the vehicle trailer comprising a roof and a floor separated from each other by a pair of side walls and a rear wall, the pair of side walls extending at least partially along the length of the roof and floor, the roof having a front edge and a rear edge, the method comprising: installing a rain gutter component defining a sloped surface extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge, the rain gutter component being positioned adjacent to the roof such that a portion of the rain gutter component proximate to or including the leading edge contacts the roof and the trailing edge of the rain gutter component extends beyond the rear edge of the roof, the rain gutter component configured such that a distance of the extending sloped surface from the roof increases as the rain gutter component extends from the leading edge; andinstalling a shelf component, the shelf component being separate from the rain gutter component, the shelf component extending from the rear wall and comprising a sloped surface extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge such that a portion of the shelf component between a leading edge and a trailing edge such that a rear wall and the trailing edge of the shelf component extends away from the rear wall. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein the shelf component is divided into two halves. 13. The method of claim 11, wherein the rear wall comprises two doors. 14. A vehicle trailer comprising: a roof and a floor separated from each other by a pair of side walls and a rear wall, the pair of side walls extending at least partially along the length of the floor, the roof and side walls each having a front edge and a rear edge;a rain gutter component defining a sloped surface extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge, the rain gutter component being positioned adjacent to the roof such that a portion of the rain gutter component proximate to or including the leading edge contacts the roof and the trailing edge of the rain gutter component extends beyond the rear edge of the roof, the rain gutter component configured such that a distance of the sloped surface from the roof increases as the rain gutter component extends from the leading edgea shelf component, the shelf component being separate from the rain gutter component, the shelf component extending from the rear wall and comprising a sloped surface extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge such that a portion of the shelf component proximate to or including the leading edge contacts the rear wall and the trailing edge of the shelf component extends away from the rear wall; anda side wall fairing defining a leading edge and trailing edge, the side wall fairing being positioned adjacent to the one of the side walls such that the trailing edge of the side wall fairing extends beyond the rear edge of the side wall. 15. The vehicle trailer of claim 14, wherein the shelf component, side wall fairings and the rain gutter component are inclined inwardly at an angle from about 10 degrees to about 20 degrees. 16. The vehicle trailer of claim 14, wherein the shelf component, side wall fairings and the rain gutter component are inclined inwardly at an angle from about 12 degrees to about 16 degrees. 17. The vehicle trailer of claim 14, wherein the shelf component is configured to movably articulate between a range of different angles. 18. The vehicle trailer of claim 14, wherein the shelf component is divided into two halves. 19. The vehicle trailer of claim 14, wherein the rear wall comprises two doors. 20.
