A transaction engine runs on the mobile device and is coupled to the decoding engine. The transaction engine receives as its input decoded first party's financial transaction card information from the decoding engine. A decoding system, comprising: a decoding engine running on a mobile device, the decoding engine in operation decoding signals produced from a read of a buyer's financial transaction card, the decoding engine in operation accepting and initializing incoming signals from the read of the buyer's financial transaction card until the signals reach a steady state, detecting the read of the buyer's financial transaction card once the incoming signals are in the steady state, identifying peaks in the incoming signals and digitizing the identified peaks in the incoming signals into bits;a transaction engine running on the mobile device and coupled to the decoding engine, the transaction engine in operation receiving as its input decoded buyer's financial transaction card information from the decoding engine and serving as an intermediary between a buyer and a merchant, so that the buyer does not have to share his/her financial transaction card information with the merchant; andwherein, at least a portion of a buyer's financial card information or information relative to a buyer's financial account is used to create a mobile device payment application on the mobile device. 2. The decoding system of claim 1, wherein the application is a send funds application. 3. The decoding system of claim 2, wherein a buyer's financial account is selected from at least one of a, bank account, credit card, debit card, pre-paid card, and a third party funding source. 4. The decoding system of claim 2, wherein a buyer's financial account is accessed from at least one of, a bank terminal and done on-line. 5. The decoding system of claim 1, further comprising: a payment system coupled to the decoding system. 6. The system of claim 5, wherein several fields of buyer information are sent to a server at the payment system. 7. The system of claim 6, wherein the fields include at least one of, a length of message, a counter, an authenticated message length, an issue type, a last 4 digits of a financial transaction card, a cardholder name, a PIN number, an expiration date, a service code, and an authentication tag. 8. The decoding system of claim 5, wherein a buyer's personal identifying information is entered only once at a payment system. 9. The decoding system of claim 1, wherein the buyer's financial transaction card is a buyer's financial account. 10. The decoding system of claim 1, wherein the read of the buyer's financial transaction card is achieved by at least one of, swiping a financial transaction card through a slot of a card reader coupled to the mobile device, a touch of the financial transaction card to the mobile device, typing in information at the mobile device, with photos, selecting a card from an application on the mobile device, and from an on-line entity. 11. The system of claim 1, wherein a tab is created that is a relationship among the buyer, the payment system and the merchant. 12. The system of claim 1, wherein the merchant can engage in a financial transaction with the buyer when the buyer is within a defined geographic area. 13. The decoding system of claim 1, wherein a financial transaction card is selected from at least one of a, credit financial transaction card, debit financial transaction card, gift financial transaction card, fund transfer financial transaction card, and other types of payment authenticating mechanisms capable of carrying out a transfer of funds. 14. A decoding system of claim 1, wherein the decoding system is configured to be coupled to a social network. 15. The decoding system of claim 1, wherein the mobile device is a buyer's mobile device, and the buyer is a member of a social network. 16. The decoding system of claim 15, wherein the buyer's mobile device includes identifying information of second parties that are members of the social network. 17. The decoding system of claim 16, wherein the buyer communicates with at least some of the second parties using the buyer's mobile device. 18. The decoding system of claim 16, wherein a payment system is in communication with a buyer's financial transaction card institution or a buyer's financial account. 19. The decoding system of claim 18, wherein the payment system includes identifying information of second parties qualified to conduct business with the payment system. 20. The decoding system of claim 15, further comprising: a payment system in communication with the transaction engine.
