Systems and methods for segmenting a period of time into identification of locations of a user who performs activities are described. One of the methods includes detecting activity of a monitoring device worn by the user. The activity includes an amount of movement of the monitoring device. The activity is performed for a period of time. The method further includes obtaining geo-location data for the monitoring device and storing, during the period of time, the detected activity and corresponding geo-location data. The method also includes analyzing the detected activity and the corresponding geo-location data to identify one or more events. Each event is associated with a group of activity data and one or more of the groups of activity data is associated with an identifier, which is obtained using the geo-location data.

1. A method comprising: detecting activity of a monitoring device that is configured to be worn by a user, the activity including an amount of movement of the monitoring device and the activity performed for a period of time;obtaining geo-location data for the monitoring device;storing, during the period of time, the detected activity and corresponding geo-location data; andanalyzing the detected activity and the corresponding geo-location data to identify one or more events, each event being associated with a group of activity data and one or more of the groups of activity data being associated with an identifier, the identifier obtained using the geo-location datawherein analyzing the detected activity and the corresponding geo-location data during the period of time comprises: determining a plurality of time elements of segregation of the detected activity;determining an activity level for each of the time elements;determining the identifier for the time elements;associating the activity levels with the time elements and the identifier; andaggregating the associated activity levels over the period of time to indicate the location for the group of activity data. 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising identifying within one of the events a time of entry or exit of the location by the monitoring device. 3. The method of claim 1, further comprising combining amounts of time of the detected activity over the period of time to indicate a combined amount of time for which the detected activity is performed. 4. The method of claim 1, further comprising combining activity levels of one or more activities over the period of time to indicate a combined activity level of the activities. 5. The method of claim 1, further comprising: combining amounts of time of one or more activities performed at the location to indicate a combined amount of time for which the activities are performed at the location. 6. The method of claim 1, wherein aggregating the associated activity levels over the period of time comprises: grouping the activity levels of performance of the detected activity at the location. 7. The method of claim 1, further comprising receiving from the user a boundary of the location, the boundary including at least one longitude and latitude of the monitoring device other than a longitude and latitude of the monitoring device identified by a device locator of the monitoring device. 8. The method of claim 1, further comprising receiving from a user a radius of the location. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein the detected activity includes running, or walking, or jogging, or sleeping, or a sports activity. 10. The method of claim 1, wherein the monitoring device is wearable as a watch, or a wrist band, or a clip. 11. The method of claim 1, wherein the user is a person or an animal. 12. The method of claim 1, wherein the amount of movement includes an amount of movement of a body part of the user. 13. The method of claim 1, wherein the period of time includes a portion of an hour, or a portion of a day, or a day, or a portion of a month, or a month, or a portion of a year, or a year, or a portion of a number of years, or a number of years. 14. The method of claim 1, wherein the geo-location data includes a latitude and a longitude of the monitoring device. 15. A method comprising: enabling access to a user account via a computing device over a network;receiving monitoring data for the user account, the monitoring data includes detected activity of a monitoring device that is configured to be worn by a user, the detected activity including an amount of movement of the monitoring device over a period of time, and the monitoring data includes geo-location data that corresponds to the detected activity;processing the monitoring data to identify one or more events, each event being associated with a group of activity data and one or more of the groups of activity data being associated with a location of the monitoring device; andsending, in response to a request from a consuming device, graphical user interface (GUI) data, the GUI data includes graphics and text that segment the period of time into at least two of the events that are graphically distinct from each other, each event included in the GUI data with a location icon that represents the location of the respective event, wherein the method is performed by one or more processors. 16. The method of claim 15, wherein enabling access comprises providing access to the user account after authenticating a username, or a password, or a combination thereof. 17. The method of claim 15, wherein the computing device includes a watch, or a smart phone, or a desktop computer, or a laptop computer. 18. The method of claim 15, wherein processing the monitoring data comprises: determining a plurality of time elements of segregation of the detected activity;determining an activity level for each of the time elements;determining the location icon for the time elements;associating the activity levels with the time elements and the location icon; andaggregating the associated activity levels over the period of time to indicate the location for the group of activity data. 19. The method of claim 15, further comprising receiving the request via a wired communication medium or a combination of a wired communication medium and a wireless communication medium. 20. The method of claim 15, wherein the location includes a home, or a building, or a park, or a golf course, or an office, or a commercial place, or an eatery, or a work place, or a vehicle. 21. The method of claim 15, wherein the graphics includes a graphical element, or a graphical property, or a combination thereof, wherein the graphics is associated with the location icon, or is associated with a background of the group of activity data, or is associated with the group of activity data, or a combination thereof, wherein the text is associated with the location icon, or is associated with the background, or is associated with the group of activity data, or a combination thereof. 22. The method of claim 15, wherein the events are graphically distinct from each other when a graphical property, or a graphical element, or a combination thereof of one of the events is different from a graphical property, or a graphical element, or a combination thereof of another one of the events. 23. The method of claim 15, wherein the location icon represents the location.
