Methods and system for integrated messaging are disclosed. Interaction by a user of a mobile device with a graphic user interface of the mobile device is detected. A command is generated based on such interaction independent of further user interaction. An SMS message including the command is transmitted to server, which stores executable instructions associated with the command. Such instructions provide for generation of data in response to the command and may be executed by the server (or another server). The responsive data is then transmitted to the mobile device.

A system for facilitating consumption of multimedia content at a mobile device using short message service (SMS) messaging, the system comprising: a facilitating server configured to: store information concerning one or more commands in memory, wherein each command is associated with stored instructions,receive an SMS message from a mobile device, the SMS message including a command based on a user interaction with a web-based interface at the mobile device,wherein, the command is automatically generated at the mobile device upon detection of the user interaction with a graphical user interface (GUI), the GUI including selection of an option or activity from a menu displayed through the web-based interface on the mobile device for inclusion in the SMS message, the option or activity indicating a request to retrieve or access the multimedia content;process the SMS message to identify the command;access the memory to determine the instructions associated with the command;execute the instructions associated with the command in the SMS message received from the mobile device to access the multimedia content; andtransmit the multimedia content for access at the mobile device in response to the SMS message. 2. The system of claim 1, wherein the multimedia content is provided by an operator server coupled to the facilitating server. 3. The system of claim 1, wherein the facilitating server is further configured to receive and store updates to the instructions in memory. 4. The system of claim 1, wherein the facilitating server is coupled to an operating server. 5. The system of claim 1, further comprising: an operating server configured to obtain the multimedia content by accessing data from one or more data sources designated by the instructions associated with the command. 6. The system of claim 5, wherein the operating server or the facilitating server is operated by a non-network operator. 7. The system of claim 6, wherein, the non-network operator is further responsible for generating the web-based user interface installed the mobile device, the web-based user interface facilitating the user interaction. 8. The system of claim 1, wherein an operator of the facilitating server generates a translation module installed at the mobile device, the translation module converting the user interaction with the graphical user interface into the command included in the SMS message. 9. A system for facilitating consumption of multimedia content at a mobile device using short message service (SMS) messaging, the system comprising: means for, converting a user interaction at a mobile device with a web-based user interface into a command in a short message service message;wherein, the command is automatically generated at the mobile device upon detection of the user interaction including selection of an option or activity from a menu displayed through the web-based interface on the mobile device for inclusion in the SMS message, the option or activity indicating a request to retrieve or access the multimedia content;means for, storing information concerning one or more commands in memory, wherein each command is associated with stored instructions,means for, receiving the SMS message from the mobile device, the SMS message including the command, andmeans for, processing the SMS message to identify the command and accessing the memory to determine the instructions associated with the command;means for, executing the instructions associated with the command;means for, accessing the multimedia content from one or more data sources according to the instructions;means for, identifying the multimedia content as a result of the processing of the instructions;means for, transmitting the multimedia content for access at the mobile device the mobile device. 10. The system of claim 9, further comprising, means for, generating the web-based user interface installed the mobile device. 11. A method for facilitating consumption of multimedia content at a mobile device using short message service (SMS) messaging, the method, comprising: receiving, at a first server, an SMS message from a mobile device, the SMS message including a command based on a user interaction at the mobile device with a web-based interface,wherein, the first server has a memory unit having stored information stored thereon concerning one or more commands, wherein each command is associated with stored instructions;wherein, the command is automatically generated at the mobile device responsive to detection of the user interaction with a graphical user interface (GUI), the GUI including selection of an option or activity from a menu displayed through the web-based interface on the mobile device for inclusion in the SMS message, the option or activity indicating a request to retrieve or access the multimedia content;processing, at the first server, the SMS message to identify the command;accessing the memory to identify the instructions associated with the command;executing, at the first server, the instructions associated with the command to retrieve the multimedia content identified in the SMS message from the mobile device;identifying the multimedia content, as a result of the execution of the instructions at the first server;transmitting, by the first server, the multimedia content to the mobile device. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein, the multimedia content is retrieved by a second server, by accessing data from one or more data sources designated in the instructions. 13. The method of claim 11, wherein the multimedia content is generated by the first server by accessing data from a data source designed in the instructions. 14. The method of claim 12, wherein the second server is associated with a value-added service provider. 15. The method of claim 11, further comprising, converting the user interaction with the mobile device into the command to retrieve the multimedia content in the short message service message. 16. The method of claim 11, wherein, the multimedia content is received at the first server over TCP/IP protocol, wherein, the TCP/IP protocol includes the short message peer-to-peer (SMPP) protocol or the External Machine Interface protocol (EMI). 17. The method of claim 11, wherein, the multimedia content includes digital content comprising, one or more of, news alerts and financial information. 18. The method of claim 11, wherein, the multimedia content includes digital content comprising, one or more of, ring tones or logos. 19. The method of claim 11, wherein, the SMS message including the command is automatically generated upon detection of the user interaction with the web-interface without further input from the user. 20. The method of claim 11, wherein, the user interaction includes selection of an option or activity from a menu displayed through a graphical user interface in the web-based interface. 21. The method of claim 11, wherein, the user interaction includes selection of an option or activity from a menu displayed through a graphical user interface to perform one or more of, respond to a query, selection of a game, or to generate a query. 22. The method of claim 11, wherein, the user interaction includes searching for content through a graphical user interface. 23. The method of claim 11, wherein, the text messages are sent through CDMA or 3G.
