The puck of claim 1 further comprising one or more microorganisms. 3. The puck of claim 2 wherein the microorganism is Bacillus, Pseudomonas, a strain of fungi, or a combination thereof. 4. The puck of claim 1, wherein the oxidative alkali is sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, sodium perborate or sodium peroxide. 5. The puck of claim 1, wherein the surfactant is sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate. 6. A puck for treating a portable toilet, which comprises: a. an oxidative alkali in a concentration of about 20 percent by weight of the puck;b. calcium peroxide in a concentration of about 2 percent by weight of the puck;c. a sugar in a concentration of about 10 percent by weight of the puck;d. a clarifying agent comprising an activated botanical protein obtained from drumstick tree seed (genus Moringa) in a concentration from 5 to 10 percent by weight of the puck; ande. Ricinus seed extractwherein the puck is a compressed homogenous mixture. 7. The puck of claim 6 further comprising a biodegradable fragrance. 8. The puck of claim 6 further comprising a non-toxic biodegradable dye. 9. The puck of claim 6, wherein the oxidative alkali is sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, sodium perborate or sodium peroxide. 10. The puck of claim 6, wherein the sugar is lactose, fructose or maltose. 11. A puck for treating a grease trap comprising: a. an oxidative alkali in a concentration from 30 to 50 percent by weight of the puck;b. a clarifying agent comprising an activated botanical protein obtained from drumstick tree seed (genus Moringa) in a concentration from 5 to 20 percent by weight of the puck;c. Ricinus seed extract in a concentration from 0.5 to 20 percent by weight of the puck;d. a surfactant in a concentration from 2 to 3 percent by weight of the puck; ande. one or more microorganisms in a concentration from 2 to 5 percent by weight of the puck incorporated into a protective substrate,wherein the puck is a compressed homogenous mixture. 12. The puck of claim 11, wherein the microorganism is Bacillus, Pseudomonas, a strain of fungi, or a combination thereof. 13. The puck of claim 11, wherein the oxidative alkali is sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, sodium perborate or sodium peroxide. 14. The puck of claim 11, wherein the surfactant is sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate. 15. A puck for treating waste water comprising: a. an oxidative alkali in a concentration from 30 to 50 percent by weight of the puck;b. a clarifying agent comprising an activated botanical protein obtained from drumstick tree seed (genus Moringa) in a concentration from 5 to 20 percent by weight of the puck;c. Ricinus seed extract in a concentration from 0.5 to 20 percent by weight of the puck; andd. a surfactant in a concentration from 2 to 3 percent by weight of the puck; ande. one or more microorganisms in a concentration from 2 to 5 percent by weight of the puck, the one or more organisms selected from the group consisting of Bacillus, Pseudomonas, a strain of fungi, and a combination thereof,wherein the puck is a compressed homogenous mixture. 16. The puck of claim 15, wherein the oxidative alkali is sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, sodium perborate or sodium peroxide. 17. The puck of claim 15, wherein the surfactant is sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate. 18. The puck of claim 15, further comprising a positive buoyancy component, a neutrally buoyant component, and a negatively buoyant component to deliver the one or more microorganisms attached to these components to a desired location in a column of water being treated. 19. The puck of claim 15, wherein the puck exhibits a negative valence charge. 20. A puck for treating water comprising a. an oxidative alkali in concentration from 30 to 50 percent by weight of the puck;b. a clarifying agent comprising an activated botanical protein from the genus Moringa in concentration from 5 to 20 percent by weight of the puck;c. Ricinus seed extract in concentration from 0.5 to 20 percent by weight of the puck; andd. a surfactant in concentration from 2 to 3 percent by weight of the puck; ande. one or more microorganisms in concentration from 2 to 5 percent obtained from drumstick tree seed (genus Moringa) incorporated into a protective substrate, the substrate comprising at least two of a positive buoyancy component, a neutrally buoyant component, and a negatively buoyant component to deliver the one or more microorganisms attached to the protective substrate to a desired location in a column of water being treated,wherein the puck is a compressed homogenous mixture. 21. The puck of claim 20, wherein the microorganism is one or a combination of Bacillus, Pseudomonas, and Lactobacillus. 22. The puck of claim 20, wherein the oxidative alkali is sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, sodium perborate or sodium peroxide. 23. The puck of claim 20, comprising the positive buoyancy component to deliver the one or more microorganisms attached to the positive buoyancy component to a surface of water being treated. 24. The puck of claim 20, wherein the puck exhibits a negative valence charge.
