1. A poster mounting system, the system including a poster hoarding incorporating therein a wire forming a loop of adjustable tension, and a plurality of poster clamps, the poster clamps being releasably attachable to the loop and to all edges of a poster for mounting into or onto the poster hoarding, the poster clamps being retained on the wire on tightening of the wire in the loop, the wire being arranged to be tensioned along all edges of the poster by pulling on one end of the wire, the tightening of the loop of wire around the loop also tensioning the poster within or on the poster hoarding, with the loop of wire surrounding all edges of the poster, and the poster clamps each comprising first and second members, the members comprising first and second surfaces, respectively, for gripping opposing sides of a poster at one of the edges of the poster, the two members being arranged for movement with respect to one another and for clamping the two surfaces towards one another. 2. The system of claim 1, further including a winch assembly for tightening the loop. 3. The system of claim 1, further comprising bearings or hangers that are spaced around the loop, the bearings or hangers having open grooves onto or into which the loop can be hung or located once the loop is tightened. 4. The poster mounting system of claim 1, wherein only one end of the loop of wire is pulled to tighten the loop. 5. The poster mounting system of claim 1, wherein two ends of the wire are tightened together. 6. The poster mounting system of claim 1, wherein the first and second members of the poster clamps are rearranged for pivotable movement with respect to one another. 7. A poster mounting system comprising a loop of wire incorporated into or onto a poster hoarding, wherein a poster to be displayed can be attached to the wire, using poster clamps that engage all edges of the poster, the poster clamps being attachable to the loop without access to the ends of the loop, the wire being arranged to be tensioned along all edges of the poster by pulling on one end of the wire, the tightening of the loop of wire around the loop also tensioning the poster within or on the poster hoarding, with the loop of wire surrounding all edges of the poster, and the poster clamps each comprising first and second members, the members comprising first and second surfaces, respectively, for gripping opposing sides of a poster at one of the edges of the poster, the two members being arranged for movement with respect to one another and for clamping the two surfaces towards one another. 8. The system of claim 7, further including a winch assembly for tightening the loop. 9. The system of claim 7, further comprising bearings or hangers that are spaced around the loop, the bearings or hangers having open grooves onto or into which the loop can be hung or located once the loop is tightened. 10. The poster mounting system of claim 7, wherein only one end of the loop of wire is pulled to tighten the loop. 11. The poster mounting system of claim 7, wherein two ends of the wire are tightened together. 12. The poster mounting system of claim 7, wherein the first and second members of the poster clamps are rearranged for pivotable movement with respect to one another. 13. A method of mounting a poster, on a poster hoarding comprising forming a loop of wire around the poster hoarding, attaching a plurality of poster clamps to the edge region of the poster, attaching the poster clamps to the wire if not already attached thereto, the wire being tensionable along all edges of the poster by pulling on one end of the wire, and tightening the loop of wire to pull the poster tight on the poster hoarding with the loop of wire surrounding all edges of the poster, the poster clamps each comprising first and second members, the members comprising first and second surfaces, respectively, for gripping opposing sides of the poster at one of the edges of the poster, the two members being arranged for movement with respect for one another and for clamping the two surfaces towards one another. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein the wire is then hooked over bearings along the top edge of the hoarding. 15. The method of claim 13, wherein two ends of the wire are tightened together. 16. The method of claim 13, wherein only one end of the loop of wire is pulled to tighten the loop. 17. The method of claim 13, the poster hoarding taking the form of an advertising display comprising means for displaying an advertisement, the poster hoarding further comprising illumination means for providing illumination of at least one of the advertisement and an area around the display, wherein the illumination means is arranged to provide at least one of variable brightness and variable colour of illumination. 18. The method according to claim 17, wherein the illumination means is arranged to produce a plurality of different colours of illumination, a colour being synchronized with a particular advert displayed in the advertisement displayed in the display. 19. The method according to claim 17, wherein the illumination means is arranged to vary the illumination during the display of a particular advertisement. 20. The method according to claim 17, wherein the illumination means provides backlighting for the advertisement. 21. The method according to claim 17, further comprising means for determining the ambient light level around the advertising display, the illumination means being arranged to vary the illumination based upon the determined ambient light level. 22. The method according to claim 17, wherein the illumination means comprises one or more light emitting diodes. 23. The method of claim 13, wherein the first and second members of the poster clamps are rearranged for pivotable movement with respect to one another.
