1. A faucet including: a faucet body having a liquid pathway therein;a selector attachment base having a longitudinal base axis and defining a selector movement plane, the longitudinal base axis having a fixed relationship with the faucet body; anda selector coupled to the selector attachment base, the selector having a longitudinal selector axis and supported for movement between a plurality of configurations to control a parameter of liquid through the liquid pathway of the faucet body, movement between the plurality of configurations being achieved via rotation about a rotational axis that is perpendicular to the selector movement plane;wherein the longitudinal selector axis is oriented at a first angle relative to the rotational axis, and the longitudinal selector axis is oriented at a second angle relative to the longitudinal base axis, the first angle being substantially constant and the second angle varying as the selector moves between the plurality of configurations. 2. The faucet of claim 1, wherein in a first configuration of the selector the longitudinal selector axis extends in a vertical direction, and in a second configuration of the selector the longitudinal selector axis extends substantially perpendicular to the first configuration in a horizontal direction. 3. The faucet of claim 1, wherein the longitudinal axis of the selector is oriented at a forty-five degree angle relative to the selector movement plane. 4. The faucet of claim 1, wherein the selector attachment point is located in the selector movement plane. 5. The faucet of claim 1, wherein the first angle between the longitudinal selector axis and the rotational axis is forty-five degrees at all configurations of the selector. 6. The faucet of claim 1, the faucet body further including a faucet body base positioned to engage a mounting surface, the faucet body base defining a faucet body base plane that is parallel with a plane of the mounting surface when the faucet is mounted to the mounting surface, the selector movement plane defining a forty-five degree angle with the faucet body base plane. 7. The faucet of claim 1, wherein the faucet reacts to a touch of the faucet body by a user by toggling on/off flow in the liquid pathway, the touch being of a nature that does not alter relative positioning of the selector and the selector attachment base. 8. The faucet of claim 1, wherein the faucet is configured to be toggled between on and off configurations that correspond to a flow and a lack of flow in the liquid pathway, respectively, without moving any portion of the faucet body and without moving any portion of the faucet located on the same side of a mounting surface as a dispensing outlet of the faucet body. 9. The faucet of claim 1, wherein the parameter of liquid comprises at least one of liquid temperature and liquid flow rate. 10. The faucet of claim 1, wherein the selector is electrically isolated from the faucet body. 11. The faucet of claim 1, wherein an outer surface of the faucet body is electrically conductive such that a user's touch of the faucet body is electrically communicated to circuitry coupled to the faucet body. 12. The faucet of claim 1, wherein rotation of the selector causes altering of a setting of a potentiometer. 13. The faucet of claim 12, wherein the potentiometer is located within a spout of the faucet body, the spout having the liquid pathway therein, the spout providing a liquid output disposed such that liquid exiting the faucet body via the liquid output of the spout is exposed to the ambient environment. 14. The faucet of claim 1, further including circuitry located within the faucet body, and on the same side of a mounting surface as a dispensing outlet of a spout of the faucet body, wherein the dispensing outlet is exposed to ambient. 15. The faucet of claim 14, wherein the circuitry is coupled to a LED that is externally perceivable by a user of the faucet. 16. The faucet of claim 15, wherein the LED is configured to output multiple colors and the outputted color is indicative of the temperature of water being delivered by a spout of the faucet body, the spout having the liquid pathway therein, the spout providing a liquid output disposed such that liquid exiting the faucet body via the liquid output of the spout is exposed to the ambient environment. 17. The faucet of claim 1, wherein a first configuration of the selector provides a “flow off” setting for the faucet and a second configuration of the selector provides a “full hot” setting for the faucet. 18. The faucet of claim 17, further including a plurality of configurations intermediate the first and second configurations, such plurality of configurations providing a plurality of temperature settings for the faucet. 19. A faucet including: a faucet body having a liquid pathway therein;a selector attachment base having a longitudinal base axis and defining a selector movement plane; anda selector coupled to the selector attachment base, the selector having a longitudinal selector axis and supported for movement between a plurality of configurations to control a parameter of liquid through the liquid pathway of the faucet body, movement between the plurality of configurations being achieved via rotation about a rotational axis that is perpendicular to the selector movement plane;a position sensor operably coupled to the selector to detect the position of the selector relative to the selector attachment base;a controller electrically coupled to the position sensor; andan electrically operable valve operably coupled to the controller and configured to control water flow through the liquid pathway in response to the position of the selector detected by the position sensor;wherein the longitudinal selector axis is oriented at a first angle relative to the rotational axis, and the longitudinal selector axis is oriented at a second angle relative to the longitudinal base axis, the first angle being substantially constant and the second angle varying as the selector moves between the plurality of configurations. 20. The faucet of claim 19, wherein movement of the selector from a first position to a second position rotates gears located within the faucet body, at least one of the gears operably coupled to the position sensor. 21. The faucet of claim 19, wherein the controller directs the electrically operable valve to control at least one of water temperature and water flow rate through the liquid pathway.
