The surgical stapler according to claim 1, wherein the staple assembly includes a staple cartridge configured to retain a plurality of surgical staples therein and an anvil assembly pivotably coupled to the staple cartridge, the anvil assembly being moveable with respect to the staple cartridge between an open position and a closed position. 3. The surgical stapler according to claim 2, wherein the motor is configured to drive the flexible drive member to move the anvil assembly from the open position to the closed position and fire staples from the staple cartridge through tissue grasped between the staple cartridge and the anvil assembly. 4. The surgical stapler according to claim 1, further comprising: a handle coupled to a second end of the elongate member. 5. The surgical stapler according to claim 4, further comprising a control button disposed on the handle and coupled to the motor for selectively driving the staple assembly. 6. The surgical stapler according to claim 1, wherein the articulating section is configured to permit articulation of the staple assembly relative to the housing in at least one plane. 7. The surgical stapler according to claim 1, further comprising a cover disposed about the articulating section. 8. The surgical stapler according to claim 1, wherein at least a portion of the elongate member is flexible. 9. A surgical stapler, comprising: an elongate member having a proximal end and a distal end;a handle positioned at the proximal end of the elongate member; anda stapler head positioned at the distal end of the elongate member, the stapler head including: a housing including a motor disposed therein; anda staple assembly positioned distally of the housing;an articulating section extending between and interconnecting the housing and the staple assembly, the articulating section selectively articulatable to articulate the staple assembly relative to the housing; anda flexible drive member extending through the articulating section, the drive member operably coupled between the motor and the staple assembly, the flexible drive member selectively translatable through the articulating section for driving the staple assembly. 10. The surgical stapler according to claim 9, wherein the handle includes at least one control button for selectively driving the staple assembly. 11. The surgical stapler according to claim 9, wherein at least a portion of the elongate member is flexible. 12. The surgical stapler according to claim 9, wherein the flexible drive member defines a bifurcated configuration having an upper beam portion and a lower beam portion. 13. The surgical stapler according to claim 9, wherein the flexible drive member is configured to flex to conform to an articulated position of the articulating section. 14. The according to claim 1, wherein the flexible drive member defines a bifurcated configuration having an upper beam portion and a lower beam portion. 15. A surgical stapler, comprising: an elongate member; anda stapler head positioned at a distal end of the elongate member, the stapler head including: a housing including a motor disposed therein;a staple assembly including a staple cartridge configured to retain a plurality of surgical staples therein and an anvil assembly pivotably coupled to the staple cartridge, the anvil assembly being moveable with respect to the staple cartridge between an open position and a closed position;an articulating section interconnecting the housing and the staple assembly, the articulating section configured to permit articulation of the staple assembly relative to the housing; anda flexible camming beam extending through the articulating section and operably coupled between the motor and the staple assembly, wherein the motor is configured to drive translation of the flexible camming beam through the articulating section for moving the anvil assembly from the open position to the closed position and for firing staples from the staple assembly through tissue grasped between the staple cartridge and anvil assembly. 17. The surgical stapler according to claim 16, wherein the flexible camming beam is configured to flex to conform to an articulated position of the articulating section. 18. The surgical stapler according to claim 16, wherein the flexible camming beam defines a bifurcated configuration having an upper beam portion and a lower beam portion.
