A pack (10) including at least two articles or PET containers (12) combined with each other, which are held together by means of a strip-like or ribbon-like compact strapping (18) and said strapping (18) being stretched around an outer surface (16) of the articles or PET containers (12) in a horizontal manner. The strapping (18) is made of one, two or more similar or different plastic strapping band (20) or bands (20) made of a composite material with overlapping ends each whereby a single part or multi part contact point (22) is formed by gluing and/or welding. The strapping (18) forms a relief loop (30) at the contact site (22) or apart from the contact site (22). A to method for the production of a pack (10) that is provided with a strapping (18), whereby the following steps are applied: arranging the pack (10) in a frame, injecting the band (20) into the frame, clamping the strapping band (20) in at least one position, formation of a relief loop (30) immediately adjacent to the clamping site, retracting the section of the strapping band (20) that is not clamped at the clamping site and tightening the strapping band (20), clamping the section of the strapping band (20) in the section where the relief loop (30) was formed, welding of the sections of the strapping band (20) superimposed on top of each other and releasing the strapping (18).

A pack comprising: at least two articles combined with each other, whereby the articles are held together by a strip-like or ribbon-like compact strapping, the strapping spun or stretched around an outer surface of the articles in a horizontal manner, the strapping being made of at least one plastic band, ends of the band overlapping and forming a single part or multi part contact site by gluing and/or welding the band together, the strapping forming a relief loop at the contact site or apart from the contact site, the relief loop including a pretensioned part of the strapping and a relief flap connected at a first joint of the relief loop to the pretensioned part and at a second joint of the relief loop to the pretensioned part, the relief flap being less tensioned than the pretensioned part prior to release, the relief flap being releasable at least one of the first and second joints, the pretensioned part after release losing tension and the relief flap being tensioned,wherein the at least one band of the strapping has the relief loop arranged between the first and second joints at the contact site between the ends of the band, andwherein the relief loop arranged between the first and second joints points towards the inside of the pack, so that the relief flap is inwards of the pretensioned part. 2. The pack as recited in claim 1 wherein a releasing force for opening the first joint of the relief loop is smaller than a releasing force for opening the second joint. 3. The pack as recited in claim 1 wherein one end of the band protrudes over the contact site of the welded or glued ends of the strapping band to form a pull off handle. 4. The pack as recited in claim 1 wherein the articles are PET containers. 5. The pack as recited in claim 1 further comprising a handle separate from the strapping. 6. The pack as recited in claim 1 wherein the plastic band is made of a composite material. 7. The pack as recited in claim 6 wherein the composite material includes PET and fibers. 8. A pack comprising: at least two articles combined with each other, whereby the articles are held together by a strip-like or ribbon-like compact strapping, the strapping spun or stretched around an outer surface of the articles in a horizontal manner, the strapping being made of at least one plastic band, ends of the band overlapping and forming a single part or multi part contact site by gluing and/or welding the band together, the strapping forming a relief loop at the contact site or apart from the contact site, the relief loop including a pretensioned part of the strapping and a relief flap connected at a first joint of the relief loop to the pretensioned part and at a second joint of the relief loop to the pretensioned part, the relief flap being less tensioned than the pretensioned part prior to release, the relief flap being releasable at at least one of the first and second joints, the pretensioned part after release losing tension and the relief flap being tensioned,wherein the contact site of the ends of the at least one band of the strapping comprises at least two distinct or immediately adjacent joints, the joints being bordered by the relief loop, the relief loop pointing towards the pack, so that the relief flap is inwards of the pretensioned part. 9. The pack as recited in claim 8 wherein the relief loop is formed by a folded end section of one end of the band, whereby an other unfolded end of the band is placed over the folded end section and glued and/or welded at the contact site to form one of the first and second two joints thereby forming the relief loop pointing towards the pack, and wherein the ends of the band are glued together and / or welded together at a further contact site located at a distance from the one joint and at least another distance from the folded section. 10. The pack as recited in claim 9 wherein a release force for opening a further joint at the further contact site, which unilaterally borders a pull off handle, is smaller than the releasing force for opening the one joint, the one joint being located immediately adjacent to the relief loop and distanced from the further joint. 11. A pack comprising: at least two articles combined with each other, whereby the articles are held together by a strip-like or ribbon-like compact strapping, the strapping spun or stretched around an outer surface of the articles in a horizontal manner, the strapping being made of at least one plastic band, ends of the band overlapping and forming a single part or multi part contact site by gluing and/or welding the band together, the strapping forming a relief loop at the contact site or apart from the contact site, the relief loop including a pretensioned part of the strapping and a relief flap connected at a first joint of the relief loop to the pretensioned part and at a second joint of the relief loop to the pretensioned part, the relief flap being less tensioned than the pretensioned part prior to release, the relief flap being releasable at at least one of the first and second joints, the pretensioned part after release losing tension and the relief flap being tensioned,wherein the contact site or a joint of threefold superimposed band loops apart from the contact site has a structured welding and/or adhesion site for influencing and/or facilitating the detachment process.
