The application device according to claim 1, wherein the cushion is attached to both the stiffening layer and the coupling surface such that the cushion, the stiffening layer and the coupling surface are together removably attachable to the headband. 24. The application device according to claim 1, wherein the cushion is positioned between the stiffening layer and the cushion layer of the headband when the supporting structure is attached to the headband. 25. The application device according to claim 1, wherein stiffening layer is positioned outside of the cushion layer with respect to the user's face when the application device is worn by the user. 26.
