Systems and methods providing integrated voice and data services utilizing wired cordless access with unlicensed/unregulated connectivity sources and wireless access with licensed/regulated connectivity sources. A single telephone directory number is assigned for use with both a mobile wireless telephone and for use with a cordless wired Internet Protocol (IP) telephone. The mobile wireless telephone operates via a conventional licensed spectrum wireless network, and the IP telephone operates over voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) over a broadband packet data network service. Incoming calls simultaneously ring the user's mobile wireless telephone and IP telephone. The user may be provided a personal voice mailbox that may be accessed from their mobile wireless telephone or from their IP telephone. The user may be provided a single services bill associated with use of both telephones.

1. A gateway device, comprising: a memory to store executable instructions; anda processor, coupled to the memory, that facilitates execution of the executable instructions to perform operations, comprising: in response to detecting that a cordless handset device has entered a coverage range of a wireless network of a wireless access point device, assigning a network address to the cordless handset device and sending the network address and a device identifier of the cordless handset device to a service node device of a wired data network;facilitating routing voice data associated with a voice service between a network device of the wired data network and the wireless access point device;facilitating access to the network device of the wired data network via a wireless connection of the wireless access point device; andin response to receiving an incoming call directed to a phone number that is common to the cordless handset device and a wireless telephone, directing the incoming call to be sent to the cordless handset device communicatively coupled to the wireless access point device via the wireless connection, wherein the directing comprises directing the incoming call according to a call processing rule associated with the cordless handset device. 2. The gateway device of claim 1, wherein the directing of the incoming call comprises directing the incoming call to be sent substantially simultaneously with the incoming call being sent to the wireless telephone by the service node device. 3. The gateway device of claim 2, wherein the operations further comprise: in response to a determination that the cordless handset device has connected to the incoming call, directing an instruction to be sent to the service node device, wherein the instruction instructs the service node device to end the directing of the incoming call to the wireless telephone. 4. The gateway device of claim 2, wherein the operations further comprise, in response to receipt of a notification from the wired data network that the incoming call has been answered by the wireless telephone, ending the directing of the incoming call to the cordless handset device. 5. The gateway device of claim 1, wherein the operations further comprise: in response to the detecting that the cordless handset device has entered the coverage range of the wireless network of the wireless access point device, directing instruction data to the cordless handset device instructing the cordless handset device to switch a phone call in process from communicating via cellular devices of a cellular telephone network to communicating via the network device of the wired data network. 6. The gateway device of claim 1, wherein the operations further comprise routing the voice data to multiple wireless access point devices including the wireless access point device. 7. The gateway device of claim 1, wherein the operations further comprise: accessing an application server of the wired data network to determine a restriction rule defined on the application server for the cordless handset device; andimplementing a usage restriction for the cordless handset device, wherein the usage restriction is defined by the restriction rule. 8. A method, comprising: assigning, by a gateway device comprising a processor, a network address to a cordless handset device in response to a determination that the cordless handset device has entered a wireless connectivity range of a wireless network of a wireless access point device;initiating, by the gateway device, sending the network address and a device identifier of the coreless handset device to a service node device of a wired data network;initiating, by the gateway device, communication of voice service data between a network device of the wired data network and the wireless access point device;facilitating, by the gateway device, access to the network device of the wired data network via the wireless network; andinitiating, by the gateway device, sending an incoming call to the cordless handset device via the wireless network according to a call processing rule associated with the cordless handset device, wherein the incoming call is directed to a phone number that is shared by the cordless handset device and a wireless telephone. 9. The method of claim 8, wherein the initiating the sending of the incoming call comprises initiating the sending of the incoming call to the cordless handset device in parallel with sending, by the service node device, the incoming call to the wireless telephone. 10. The method of claim 9, further comprising ceasing, by the gateway device, the sending of the incoming call to the cordless handset device in response to a determination that the wireless telephone has connected to the incoming call. 11. The method of claim 9, further comprising initiating, by the gateway device, sending an instruction to the service node device to cease the sending of the incoming call to the wireless telephone in response to a determination that the cordless handset device has connected to the incoming call. 12. The method of claim 8, further comprising: in response to the determination that the cordless handset device has entered the wireless connectivity range of the wireless network of the wireless access point device, sending, by the gateway device, instruction data instructing the cordless handset device to switch a phone call that is in progress from communication via a cellular telephone network to communication via the network device of the wired data network and the wireless access point device. 13. The method of claim 8, further comprising routing, by the gateway device, the voice service data to multiple wireless access point devices, including the wireless access point device, communicatively connected to the gateway device. 14. The method of claim 8, further comprising enforcing, by the gateway device, a restriction on voice communication via the cordless handset device based on a restriction rule associated with the cordless handset device and stored by an application server device of the wired data network. 15. A computer-readable storage device having executable instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution, cause a device comprising a processor to perform operations, comprising: assigning a network address to a cordless handset device in response to detecting that the cordless handset device has entered a wireless range of a wireless network of a wireless access point device;initiating sending the network address and a device identifier of the cordless handset device to a network device of the wired data network for storage by a service node device;routing data relating to a voice service and received from the network device to the wireless access point device;interfacing the cordless handset device to the network device via a wireless connection of the wireless access point device; andin response to receipt of an incoming call directed to a phone number that is shared by the cordless handset device and a wireless telephone, initiating sending of notification data to notify the cordless handset device of the incoming call in accordance with a call processing rule associated with the cordless handset device. 16. The computer-readable storage device of claim 15, wherein the operations further comprise ceasing the sending of the notification data in response to a notification from a service node device that the wireless telephone has connected to the incoming call. 17. The computer-readable storage device of claim 15, wherein the operations further comprise: determining a restriction rule defined on an application server device for the cordless handset device; andimplementing a usage restriction for the cordless handset device defined by the restriction rule. 18. The gateway device of claim 1, wherein the wireless telephone comprises a cellular telephone. 19. The method of claim 8, wherein the wireless telephone is a cellular telephone. 20. The computer-readable storage device of claim 15, wherein the wireless telephone comprises a cellular telephone.
