The system of claim 16, wherein control to quench comprises extinguishing a flame formed by igniting the fuel with the air. 18. A method, comprising: injecting air from an air intake port directly into a pre-combustion chamber;injecting fuel from a fuel intake port directly into the pre-combustion chamber;igniting, via an ignition source, the fuel with the air;injecting a flow having free-radicals from the pre-combustion chamber to a combustion chamber. 20. The method of claim 19, comprising quenching, via a quench system, the flow having the free radicals. 21. The method of claim 20, wherein quenching comprises extinguishing a flame formed by igniting the fuel with the air. 22. The method of claim 20, wherein quenching comprises flowing a coolant along an injection passage, and the injection passage extends from the pre-combustion chamber to the combustion chamber.
