The bandage of claim 1, wherein the pack includes a bottom surface, a top surface, a side wall extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, and a passage extending from the aperture to the top surface wall. 3. The bandage of claim 2, wherein the wound dressing member further includes a connecter coupled to the top surface of the wound dressing member and in communication with the port of the wound dressing member. 4. The bandage of claim 1, wherein the pack includes a bottom surface, a top surface, a side wall extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, and a passage extending from the aperture to the side wall. 5. The bandage of claim 4, wherein the wound dressing member further includes a connecter coupled to the top side surface of the wound dressing member and in communication with the port of the wound dressing member. 6. The bandage of claim 5, wherein the pack is removable from the member while the member remains coupled to the vacuum source. 7. The bandage of claim 1, wherein the pack is an opened-cell foam. 8. The bandage of claim 1, wherein the pack is a closed-cell foam. 9. The bandage of claim 1, wherein the source of fluid is a source of negative pressure. 10. The bandage of claim 1, wherein the pack is removably coupled to the member. 11. The vacuum bandage of claim 1, wherein the wound dressing member includes an anti-microbial. 12. The vacuum bandage of claim 11, wherein the anti-microbial includes silver ions. 13. A vacuum bandage connectable to a source of fluid and provided for use with a wound having a wound surface, the vacuum bandage comprising: a wound dressing member having a wound contacting surface configured to contact the wound, a plurality of holes formed in the wound contacting surface, and a port configured to be coupled to the source of fluid;a foam pack disposed on the wound dressing member and having an aperture about the port of the wound dressing member;a tube received in the aperture of the foam pack, the tube having a first end coupled to the port of the wound dressing member and a second end configured to be coupled to the source of fluid; anda sealing film covering the tube, the foam pack, and the wound dressing member and configured to form a seal over the wound. 14. The vacuum bandage of claim 13, wherein the wound dressing member includes silver ions. 15. The vacuum bandage of claim 14, wherein the wound contacting surface includes silver ions. 16. A vacuum bandage connectable to a source of fluid and provided for use with a wound having a wound surface, the vacuum bandage comprising: a wound contacting layer having a wound contacting surface configured to engage the wound surface, a top surface, and holes in the wound contacting surface configured for communication with the wound surface;a port configured to be coupled to the wound contacting layer;a tube having a first end configured to be coupled to the port and a second end configured to be coupled to the source of fluid; anda pack including an aperture, wherein the pack is disposed above the wound contacting layer such that the pack is positioned in fluid communication with the port;wherein the wound contacting layer includes an anti-microbial. 17. The vacuum bandage of claim 16, wherein the anti-microbial includes silver ions. 18. The vacuum bandage of claim 17, wherein the wound contacting surface includes the silver ions such that the silver ions are configured to engage the wound surface. 19. The vacuum bandage of claim 17, wherein the silver ions are molded into the wound contacting layer. 20. The vacuum bandage of claim 16, wherein the wound contacting layer is flexible in order to conform to the wound surface. 21. A vacuum bandage connectable to a source of fluid and provided for use with a wound having a wound surface, the vacuum bandage comprising: a wound contacting layer having a wound contacting surface configured to engage the wound surface, a top surface, and holes in the wound contacting surface configured for communication with the wound surface;a port configured to be coupled to the wound contacting layer;a tube having a first end configured to be coupled to the port and a second end configured to be coupled to the source of fluid;a pack including an aperture, wherein the pack is configured to be disposed above the wound contacting layer such that the is positioned in fluid communication with the port; anda sealing film covering the tube, the pack, and the wound contacting layer and configured to form a seal over the wound. 22.
