The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television. 4. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the high definition digital output interface is for connecting the mobile terminal to the high definition digital television for transmission of the decompressed high definition digital video signal from the mobile terminal to the high definition digital television. 5. The apparatus of claim 4, wherein the mobile terminal is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television through the high definition digital output interface. 6. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the multimedia signal is received from a wireless device, wherein said apparatus is an intermediate device between the wireless device and the high definition digital television. 7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the multimedia signal is received in a radio frequency (RF) signal. 8. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television. 9. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the mobile terminal and an intermediate device between the mobile terminal and the high definition digital television collectively perform said processing the multimedia signal. 10. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the mobile terminal is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television. 11. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein power for said processing the multimedia signal is received from the high definition digital television. 12. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the mobile terminal is the cellular phone; and wherein said at least one processing unit resides in the cellular phone. 13. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the mobile terminal is the cellular phone; wherein a housing outside the cellular phone having a housing interface is configured to interface with the cellular phone, and the housing provides the encoded digital signal for transmission to a high definition digital television. 14. The apparatus of 13, the cellular phone is configured for receiving power through the housing interface. 15. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the encoded digital signal is transmitted to a projector. 16. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the high definition digital output interface is a high definition multimedia interface. 17. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 18. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the multimedia content is one or more of the following: a network game, GPS, a video on demand, a 3D image, a high definition television (HDTV), a video, and a video conference. 19. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the high definition digital output interface is a mobile high definition interface; and wherein the mobile high definition interface is for connecting the mobile terminal to a high definition digital television for transmission of the decompressed high definition digital video signal from the mobile terminal to the high definition digital television. 20. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 21. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the maximum throughput rate supports said transmission of the encoded digital signal in real time. 22. An apparatus comprising: an input interface configured for receiving a multimedia signal appropriate for displaying a multimedia content on a mobile terminal;at least one processing unit configured for processing the multimedia signal,wherein the multimedia signal is a compressed digital signal that is received from the mobile terminal through a wired connection,wherein the mobile terminal is a cellular phone or a personal digital assistant (PDA),wherein said processing the multimedia signal comprises decompressing the compressed digital signal to a decompressed digital signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal further comprises encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce an encoded digital signal, andwherein the encoded digital signal comprises a decompressed high definition digital video signal; anda high definition digital output interface configured for providing the encoded digital signal for transmission. 23. The apparatus of claim 22, wherein the high definition digital output interface is a high definition multimedia interface. 24. The apparatus of claim 23, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 25. The apparatus of claim 22, wherein the encoded digital signal is transmitted to a high definition digital display through a wired connection; and wherein the apparatus is a separate intermediate device between the mobile terminal and the high definition digital display. 26. The apparatus of claim 25, wherein the apparatus is configured to receive power from the high definition digital display for said processing the multimedia signal. 27. The apparatus of claim 25, wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital display. 28. The apparatus of claim 25, wherein the mobile terminal is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital display; and wherein the high definition digital display is a high definition digital television. 29. The apparatus of claim 22, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 30. A cellular phone comprising: an input interface configured for receiving a multimedia signal appropriate for displaying a multimedia content on the cellular phone, wherein the multimedia signal is a compressed digital signal;at least one processing unit configured for processing the multimedia signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal comprises decompressing the compressed digital signal to a decompressed digital signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal further comprises encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce an encoded digital signal, andwherein the encoded digital signal comprises a decompressed high definition digital video signal; anda high definition digital output interface configured for providing the encoded digital signal for transmission to a high definition digital television;wherein the cellular phone is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television through the high definition digital output interface. 31. The cellular phone of claim 30, wherein the encoded digital signal is transmitted to the high definition digital television through a wired connection; and, wherein the cellular phone is configured to accommodate displaying the multimedia content on a display screen of the cellular phone. 32. The cellular phone of claim 30 comprises a decoder, wherein the decoder is configured for performing said decompressing the compressed digital signal to the decompressed digital signal, and wherein the decompressed digital signal is appropriate for the cellular phone to accommodate displaying the multimedia content on a display screen of the cellular phone; and wherein the cellular phone further comprises an encoder, wherein the encoder is configured for performing said encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce the encoded digital signal for transmission to the high definition digital television. 33. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein the decoder and the encoder are in separate chips. 34. The cellular phone of the claim 32, wherein the compressed digital signal is in a video compression format. 35. The cellular phone of the claim 32, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 36. The cellular phones of claim 35, wherein the maximum throughput rate supports said transmission of the encoded digital signal for providing a real time multimedia content. 37. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein the multimedia content is one or more of the following: a video game, UPS, a video on demand, an 3D image, a high definition television (HDTV), a video, and a video conference. 38. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein the multimedia signal is received through a wireless local area network. 39. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein the high definition digital output interface is for connecting the cellular phone to the high definition digital television for transmission of the decompressed high definition digital video signal from the cellular phone to the high definition digital television, and wherein the decompressed high definition digital video signal is encoded according to a high definition digital output interface requirement. 40. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein said processing comprises setting a signal power level for the encoded digital signal for said transmission. 41. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein the high definition digital output interface is a mobile high definition interface and wherein the mobile high definition interface is for connecting the cellular phone to the high definition digital television for transmission of the decompressed high definition digital video signal from the cellular phone to the high definition digital television. 42. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein the multimedia signal is received from a cellular communication network. 43. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein the cellular phone is configured for receiving power for said processing the multimedia signal from the high definition digital television. 44. The cellular phone of claim 32, wherein the decompressed digital signal is encoded according to a high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) requirement. 45. The cellular phone of claim 43, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 46. The cellular phone of claim 30, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 47. An apparatus comprising: at least one processor; andat least one memory storing program code configured for performing operations when executed by said at least one processor, the operations comprising:receiving a multimedia signal through a wireless communication network, wherein the multimedia signal is a compressed digital signal;processing the multimedia signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal comprises decompressing the compressed digital signal to a decompressed digital signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal further comprises encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce an encoded digital signal, andwherein the encoded digital signal comprises a decompressed high definition digital video signal; andproviding the encoded digital signal for transmission to a high definition digital television through a high definition digital output interface;wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television; andwherein the wireless communication network is a cellular communication network or a wireless local area network. 48. The apparatus of claim 47, wherein the encoded digital signal is transmitted to the high definition digital television through a wired connection. 49. The apparatus of claim 47, wherein the apparatus is a cellular phone; and wherein the high definition digital output interface is for connecting the cellular phone to the high definition digital television for transmission of the decompressed high definition digital video signal from the cellular phone to the high definition digital television; and wherein the high definition digital output interface is a mobile high definition interface or a high definition multimedia interface, wherein the decompressed high definition digital video signal is encoded according to a high definition digital output interface requirement. 50. The apparatus of claim 49, wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television through the high definition digital output interface. 51. The apparatus of claim 50 comprises a decoder, wherein the decoder is configured for performing said decompressing the compressed digital signal to the decompressed digital signal, and wherein the decompressed digital signal is appropriate for the cellular phone to accommodate displaying the multimedia content on a display screen of the cellular phone; and wherein the cellular phone further comprises an encoder, wherein the encoder is configured for performing said encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce the encoded digital signal for transmission to the high definition digital television; and wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 52. The apparatus of claim 47, wherein the apparatus is an intermediary device between a wireless device and the high definition digital television; and wherein the multimedia signal is received from the wireless device through the wireless local area network; and wherein the high definition digital output interface is a high definition multimedia interface. 53. The apparatus of claim 52, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 54. The apparatus of claim 47, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 55. The cellular phone of claim 54, wherein the maximum throughput rate supports said transmission of the encoded digital signal for providing a real time multimedia content. 56. The apparatus of claim 47, wherein the wireless communication network is the cellular communication network. 57. The apparatus of claim 47, wherein the wireless communication network is the wireless local area network. 58. The apparatus of claim 47, wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television for said processing the multimedia signal. 59. An apparatus comprising: an input interface configured for receiving a multimedia signal appropriate for displaying a multimedia content on a mobile terminal;at least one processing unit configured for processing the multimedia signal,wherein the multimedia signal is received from the mobile terminal through a wireless local area network,wherein the multimedia signal is a compressed digital signal,wherein the mobile terminal is a cellular phone or a personal digital assistant (PDA),wherein said processing the multimedia signal comprises decompressing the compressed digital signal to a decompressed digital signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal further comprises encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce an encoded digital signal, andwherein the encoded digital signal comprises a decompressed high definition digital video signal; anda high definition multimedia interface configured for providing the encoded digital signal for transmission to a high definition digital television;wherein the apparatus is an intermediate device between the mobile terminal and the high definition digital television. 60. The apparatus of claim 59, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 61. The apparatus of claim 59, wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television. 62. The apparatus of claim 59, wherein said processing comprises setting a signal power level for the encoded digital signal for said transmission. 63. The apparatus of claim 59, wherein said transmission is through a wired connection. 64. The apparatus of claim 59, wherein the mobile terminal is the cellular phone. 65. The apparatus of claim 59, wherein the input interface receives the multimedia signal after the multimedia signal is wirelessly received by the mobile terminal. 67. An apparatus comprising: an input interface configured for receiving a multimedia signal from a wireless local area network;at least one processing unit configured for processing the multimedia signal,wherein the multimedia signal is a compressed digital signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal comprises decompressing the compressed digital signal to a decompressed digital signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal further comprises encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce an encoded digital signal, andwherein the encoded digital signal comprises a decompressed high definition digital video signal; anda high definition multimedia interface configured for providing the encoded digital signal for transmission to a high definition digital television;wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television. 68. The apparatus of claim 67, wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second. 69. The apparatus of claim 67, wherein the multimedia signal is received from a mobile terminal; and wherein the apparatus is an intermediate device between the mobile terminal and the high definition digital television; and wherein the mobile terminal is a cellular phone or a personal digital assistant (PDA). 70. The apparatus of claim 67, wherein the apparatus is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television for said processing the multimedia signal. 71. A method for processing signals, the method comprising: receiving a multimedia signal appropriate for displaying a multimedia content on a cellular phone, wherein the multimedia signal is a compressed, digital signal and the multimedia signal is received by the cellular phone;processing the multimedia signal by the cellular phone,wherein said processing the multimedia signal comprises decompressing the compressed digital signal to a decompressed digital signal,wherein said processing the multimedia signal further comprises encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce an encoded digital signal, andwherein the encoded digital signal comprises a decompressed high definition digital video signal; andproviding the encoded digital signal for transmission to a high definition digital television through a high definition digital output interface;wherein the cellular phone is configured for receiving power from the high definition digital television through the high definition digital output interface. 72. The method of claim 45, wherein the cellular phone comprises a decoder, wherein the decoder is configured for performing said decompressing the compressed digital signal to the decompressed digital signal, and wherein the decompressed digital signal is appropriate for the cellular phone to accommodate displaying the multimedia content on a display screen of the cellular phone and wherein the cellular phone further comprises an encoder, wherein the encoder is configured for performing said encoding the decompressed digital signal to produce the encoded digital signal for transmission to the high definition television; and wherein a maximum throughput rate for the encoded digital signal is at least 10 Gigabits/second.
