A method for growing plants, comprising: placing plants on a plurality of trays within an insulated chamber;plugging an electrical plug, coupled to the chamber, via an electrical cord, into a standard connection;watering the plants;lighting the plants;draining the plants;at least one of heating or cooling an interior of the chamber;retrieving a power value for the watering;retrieving a power value for the lighting;retrieving a power value for the heating or cooling;ensuring that the chamber does not overload an electrical connection for 20 amperes and at least one of 120 volts or 240 volts by executing a schedule for at least one task chosen from a group consisting of the watering, lighting and heating or cooling, wherein the schedule is based on a power consumption of at least one of the chamber or a different task. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein the insulated chamber includes a first door on an opposing side of the chamber from a second door. 13. The method of claim 11, wherein the insulated chamber includes synthetic foam in a door. 14. The method of claim 11, comprising blocking light from entering the chamber. 15. The method of claim 11, comprising at least one of heating water or storing water in a tank. 16. The method of claim 11, wherein the insulated chamber floor includes a tread plate. 17. The method of claim 11, wherein a racking system includes an L-channel configuration. 18. The method of claim 11, comprising piping water through plastic piping. 19. The method of claim 11, wherein the trays include human grade plastic. 20. The method of claim 11, comprising maintaining an approximately six degree Fahrenheit temperature range.
