The storage lid of claim 1, wherein the lid abutment wall extends downwardly from the annular flange. 6. The storage lid of claim 1, comprising: an inner wall that extends generally orthogonally from the annular flange, and a bottom wall that connects the inner wall with the lid abutment wall, wherein the inner wall, the bottom wall, and the lid abutment wall define an annular channel. 7. The storage lid of claim 6, wherein the inner wall extends downwardly from the annular flange. 8. A mixing bowl assembly comprising: a bowl;a liner configured to be closely received in the bowl, the liner comprising: a bottom wall;a side wall integrally formed with the bottom wall, the side wall including an inner surface, an outer surface, and an upper edge;a first securing formation disposed on the inner surface proximate the upper edge; anda lid comprising: a body including a recessed inner portion and an annular flange that extends about the recessed inner portion;a lid abutment wall disposed outward from and substantially orthogonal to the body and including a second securing formation configured for removable engagement with the first securing formation; andan inner wall that extends substantially orthogonally and downward from the annular flange and terminates at a bottom channel wall extending outward from the inner wall to the lid abutment wall, wherein the inner wall, the bottom channel wall, and the lid abutment wall define an annular channel, wherein the bottom channel wall is positioned between the inner wall and the lid abutment wall, and wherein the inner wall and the lid abutment wall each descend to the bottom channel wall. 9. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 8, wherein the first securing formation includes a peripheral engagement channel, and wherein the second securing formation includes a peripheral engagement protrusion that extends away from a liner abutment wall and is configured to extend into the peripheral engagement channel. 10. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 8, comprising: an annular arch having a top wall that extends substantially orthogonally from the lid abutment wall to an annular outer wall that extends substantially downward from the top wall. 11. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 10, comprising: an outwardly extending tab extending from the annular outer wall of the annular arch and having a lid offset defining a lid gripping ridge having a peripheral wall; anda peripheral lip that extends around the lid, wherein the planar extent of the peripheral lip is substantially coplanar with the planar extent of the lid offset. 12. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 11, comprising: a rounded perimeter having a distal lip that extends around the outer surface of the liner; andfirst and second liner extensions that include at least a portion of the rounded perimeter extending substantially orthogonally from the outer surface of the liner, wherein each of the first and second liner extensions includes a liner offset each defining first and second liner gripping ridges, and wherein the first and second liner extensions each include at least a portion of the rounded perimeter. 13. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 12, wherein the lid offset of the lid is configured to be selectively positioned over at least one of the liner offset of the first and second liner extensions. 14. The mixing bowl of claim 12, wherein the second liner extension includes a keyed surface section wherein the rounded perimeter of the second liner extension defines an angle in the second liner extension. 15. A mixing bowl assembly comprising: a bowl;a liner configured to be closely received in the bowl, the liner comprising: a bottom wall;a side wall integrally formed with the bottom wall, the side wall including an inner surface, an outer surface, and an upper edge, wherein the inner surface and the outer surface each descend from the upper edge in opposing directions;a first securing formation disposed on the outer surface proximate the upper edge; anda lid comprising: a body including a recessed inner portion and an annular flange that extends about the recessed inner portion; anda lid abutment wall extending downward from and substantially orthogonal to the body and including a second securing formation configured for removable engagement with the outer surface of the side wall proximate the first securing formation. 16. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 15, wherein the first securing formation includes a peripheral engagement channel that extends about an outer surface, and wherein the second securing formation includes a peripheral engagement protrusion that extends from a liner abutment wall and is configured to extend into the peripheral engagement channel. 17. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 15, comprising: an outwardly extending tab extending from the lid abutment wall and having a lid offset defining a lid gripping ridge and a peripheral wall; anda peripheral lip that extends around the lid, wherein the planar extent of the peripheral lip is substantially coplanar with the planar extent of the lid offset. 18. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 17, comprising: a rounded perimeter having a distal lip that extends around the outer surface of the liner; andfirst and second liner extensions extending substantially orthogonally from the outer surface of the liner, wherein each of the first and second liner extensions include a liner offset each defining first and second liner gripping ridges, and wherein the first and second extensions each include at least a portion of the rounded perimeter. 19. The mixing bowl assembly of claim 18, wherein the lid offset of the lid is configured to be selectively positioned over at least one of the liner offset of the first and second liner extensions. 20. The mixing bowl of claim 18, wherein the second liner extension includes a keyed surface section wherein the rounded perimeter of the second liner extension defines an angle in the second liner extension.
