A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the strap includes one or more protrusions on a first surface, the protrusions being on an inner surface of the loop when the closure portion is secured to the container portion. 3. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the container portion and the closure portion include a plurality of apertures. 4. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a first part of the securing means is provided in the container portion and a second part of the securing means is provided in the closure portion. 5. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, where disabling the securing means includes breaking a part of the securing means. 6. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the closure portion includes a handle portion, arranged to enable a user to grip said handle to separate the closure portion from the container portion. 7. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the securing means comprises an opening in the container portion and a protrusion in the closure portion, and wherein a part of the protrusion is passed through the opening to secure the closure portion to the container portion. 8. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 7, wherein the securing means comprises more than one opening and more than one protrusion. 9. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the container portion includes a partitioning member. 10. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the closure portion is a lid. 11. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the container portion is a tray compartment. 12. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the container portion is a tray compartment and the closure portion is a sleeve, and the tray compartment is receivable within the sleeve. 13. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 12, wherein a first part of the securing means is provided on the tray compartment and a second part of the securing means is provided on the sleeve. 14. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 13, wherein said first and second parts of the securing means are a plurality of semi-dome protrusions arranged such that when the tray compartment is engaged with the sleeve flat surfaces of said protrusions interlock to prevent disengagement of the tray compartment from the sleeve. 15. A single-use storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the container portion and closure portion are formed from a plastics material. 16. A single-use storage device for retaining a first piece of medical equipment together with a second piece of medical equipment during cleaning and/or storage, the storage, device being resistant to cleaning and sterilization fluids, and the storage device comprising: a container portion, configured to hold said first piece of medical equipment; a closure portion, designed to engage with the container portion to form an enclosure around said first piece of medical equipment; a plurality of apertures permitting fluid flow through the storage device; securing means to secure the closure portion to the container portion, the securing means arranged such that once the closure portion has been secured to the container portion using the securing means the closure portion and the container portion cannot be separated without permanently disabling the securing means; and a connecting portion joining the container portion to the closure portion, the connecting portion comprising a flexible, elongate strap having a first end and a second end, the first end being attached to the container portion and the second end being attached to the closure portion, and the strap being arranged such that, in use, when the closure portion is secured to the container portion the elongate strap forms a loop around a part of said second piece of medical equipment, the strap having a circular loop shape with a majority of the loop protruding away from the container portion and closure portion; the container portion includes a rim and the closure portion includes a rim, and wherein in use, when the closure portion is secured to the container portion, one or more openings are formed between said rim of the container portion and said rim of the closure portion. 17.
