1. An aircraft window, comprising: an outer window assembly including a structural window having a plurality of brackets around its perimeter;an inner window assembly;a seal adapted to seal the perimeter of the inner window assembly against the outer window assembly; anda plurality of retaining features around the perimeter of the window for retaining the inner window assembly on the outer window assembly and for forcing the seal against the structural window, the retaining features including a plurality of interlocking clips and receptacles, each receptacle being mounted on one of the plurality of brackets and having a socket, and each clip including a plug receivable in snap-fit relationship within a corresponding one of the sockets. 2. The aircraft window of claim 1, wherein: the outer window assembly includes a window frame secured to the aircraft and surrounding the structural window, the seal is secured to the inner window assembly, the clips are secured to the seal, andthe receptacles are attached to the frame. 3. The aircraft window of claim 1, wherein each of the receptacles includes a flexible guide for guiding the plug into the socket. 4. The aircraft window of claim 1, wherein each of the clips includes: a first end, the plug being disposed at the first end, anda second end, having a tab to which force may be applied to snap the plug into the socket of the receptacle. 5. A window for an aircraft fuselage, comprising: a window frame, adapted to be secured to the fuselage, having a plurality of brackets mounted around a periphery thereof;an outer structural window mounted on the window frame;an inner window, spaced inboard of the outer structural window to form a window cavity between the inner window and the outer structural window;a seal extending around the window cavity for sealing the window cavity; anda plurality of retaining features for retaining the inner window on the window frame, each retaining feature including a plurality of spring clips respectively mounted on the brackets,a receptacle on each of the spring clips,a plurality of retention clips attached to the seal, anda plug on an end of each of the retention clips that may be snapped into one of the receptacles. 6. The aircraft window of claim 5, wherein the spring clips and receptacles are configured to apply a force to the seal that compresses the seal against the outer structural window. 7. The aircraft window of claim 5, wherein the seal includes a portion that is folded and forms a substantially tight seal against the outer structural window but allows air to escape from the window cavity when air pressure in the window cavity exceeds a preselected value. 8. The aircraft window of claim 5, wherein each of the clips includes a first end, the plug being disposed at the first end, and a second end having a tab to which a force may be applied to snap the first end into the receptacle. 9. The aircraft window of claim 5, wherein each of the receptacles is configured to accommodate variations in a position of the corresponding clip during installation of the inner window on the window frame. 10. A window comprising: a structural window;a window frame around the structural window;at least one flexible receptacle mounted on the window frame, the receptacle including a socket having a maximum internal width and an opening having a width that is less than the maximum internal width; anda window assembly including at least one retention clip insertable into the receptacle for retaining the window assembly on the window frame during installation of the window assembly on the window frame, the retention clip including a plug having a width greater than the width of the opening in the socket. 11. The window of claim 10, wherein the socket includes flexible guides on opposite sides of the socket opening for guiding the plug into the socket during the installation. 12. The window of claim 10, wherein: the plug and the socket are each elongate, andthe socket is open at opposing ends thereof, allowing the plug to be held in any of a plurality of longitudinal positions within the socket. 13. The window of claim 10, further comprising: at least one bracket attached to the window frame, anda deformable spring member mounted on the bracket, wherein the receptacle is mounted on an end of the spring member. 14. An aircraft window, comprising: an outer window assembly;an inner window assembly adapted to be installed on the outer window assembly;a seal adapted to be compressed between the inner and outer window assemblies; anda plurality of retaining features for retaining the inner window assembly on the outer window assembly, the retaining features including a plurality of receptacles, mounted on the outer window assembly, anda plurality of retention clips, attached to the seal, each retention clip having a plug adapted to be snapped into one of the receptacles;the retaining features being configured to produce an audible indication when the seal has been sufficiently compressed during installation. 15. A window for an aircraft fuselage, comprising: an outer window assembly, including— a window frame adapted to be mounted on the fuselage,an outboard structural window mounted on the window frame,a seal between the frame and the outboard window,a plurality of brackets on the frame around the periphery of the outboard window,a plurality of spring clips respectively secured to the brackets,a flexible receptacle mounted on each of the spring clips and having asocket with a socket opening; andan inner window assembly adapted to be installed on the outer window assembly, including— an inboard window spaced inboard of the outboard window to form a cavity between the inboard and outboard windows when the inner window is installed on the outer window assembly,a compressible seal around the periphery of the window for sealing the cavity,a plurality of elongate retention clips respectively associated with the spring clips to form locking devices connecting the inner window assembly with the outer window assembly, the retention clips being bonded to the seal and spaced around the periphery of the inboard window assembly, each of the retention clips having a finger tab on one end thereof and a plug on the opposite end thereof, each of the plugs being receivable in snap-fit relationship in a socket of a corresponding one of the receptacles.
