The plastic aerosol container of claim 14, wherein the portion of the neck between the bottom surface of the support ring and the top end of the shoulder is thicker than the thickness of the lip activity. 16. The plastic aerosol container of claim 13, wherein the thickness of the wall of the cylindrical body is equivalent to the internal pressure multiplied by the inner diameter of the container and divided by an acceptable amount of stress to be placed the thermoplastic material. 17. The plastic aerosol container of claim 16, wherein the acceptable amount of stress is less than the yield strength of the thermoplastic material. 18. The plastic aerosol container of claim 16, wherein portions of the neck are approximately 1.5 to approximately 2.0 times thicker than the thickness of the wall of the cylindrical body. 19. The plastic aerosol container of claim 1, wherein the first material thickness of the top end of the shoulder is about half the thickness of the lip. 20. The plastic aerosol container of claim 19, wherein the third material thickness of the lip is about half the thickness of the support ring. 21.
