1. A glucose sensor for measuring a glucose concentration in a host, the sensor comprising: a first electrode comprising a first electroactive portion, wherein the first electrode is a working electrode;a second electrode comprising a second electroactive portion, wherein the second electrode is a reference electrode, wherein the second electrode is not in contact with a first domain;a membrane system located over at least one of the first electroactive portion or the second electroactive portion, the membrane system comprising: the first domain comprising an enzyme;a second domain, wherein the second domain is configured to control a flux of glucose and oxygen therethrough; anda third domain comprising a biointerface, wherein the third domain is configured to inhibit cell migration towards at least one of the first electroactive portion or the second electroactive portion;wherein the sensor comprises an ex vivo portion and an in vivo portion, wherein the ex vivo portion is configured to reside outside a body of the host during glucose sensing, wherein the in vivo portion is configured to be in contact with host tissue during glucose sensing and measure a glucose concentration within the host tissue for a time period, and wherein the time period is from about one day to about 14 days. 2. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the second domain has a higher oxygen permeability than a glucose permeability. 3. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the sensor does not comprise a separately deposited interference domain, and is substantially non-responsive to ascorbate. 4. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the second domain comprises a hydrophilic polymer. 5. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the second domain comprises a hydrophilic polyurethane and a hydrophobic polyurethane. 6. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the second domain comprises a silicone. 7. The sensor of claim 1, further comprising a fourth domain, wherein the fourth domain is configured to reduce passage or block passage of at least one interferant selected from the group consisting of ascorbic acid, uric acid, and acetaminophen. 8. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the third domain is configured to substantially suppress sensitivity loss of the sensor in vivo. 9. The senor of claim 1, wherein the first electrode is configured to measure a product of a reaction of an enzyme with glucose. 10. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the membrane comprises a bioactive agent, wherein the bioactive agent is an anti-inflammatory agent. 11. The sensor of claim 10, wherein the anti-inflammatory agent is dexamthasone. 12. The sensor of claim 10, wherein the anti-inflammatory agent is a compound selected from the group consisting of aminosalycylic acid, an anti-IL-6 iNOS inhibitor, a corticosteroid, hydrocortisone, and fluocinonide. 13. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the third domain comprises polyurethane. 14. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the second domain comprises polyurethane. 15. The sensor of claim 14, wherein the second domain comprises from about 40 wt. % to about 60 wt. % of polyurethane. 16. The sensor of claim 1, further comprising a fourth domain, wherein the fourth domain is configured to restrict a flow of interfering species therethrough. 17. The sensor of claim 16, wherein the fourth domain comprises a polymer comprising ionic groups. 18. The sensor of claim 16, wherein the fourth domain is configured to restrict passage therethrough of species with a molecular weight greater than a molecular weight of hydrogen peroxide. 19. The sensor of claim 16, wherein the fourth domain is located between the first electroactive portion and the first domain. 20. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the working electrode comprises a distal portion and a proximal portion, wherein the distal portion is more flexible than the proximal portion. 21. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the membrane is configured to provide the sensor with a sensitivity to glucose from about 1 pA/mg/dL to about 100 pA/mg/dL.
